Watching more than one series at a time?
Posted 1/27/13 , edited 1/27/13
Okay, so I've been looking at the 'Anime You've Watched Today' thread or whatever it's called and I've noticed some people watch multiple episodes of multiples shows in the same day. To me I can't do that, I've gotta go with one show at a time or I feel like I'll just get all the stories mixed up or something. So does anybody else feel the same as me? And for the people who watch all these shows at one time, how do you frickin do it?!?! lol

Unless I've gotten into a series and am marathoning it, I rarely watch only a single series at a time.

I usually watch multiple series at a time, but not all at the same pace. I like a little variety in my viewing.

I couldn't just watch one series at a time, it would take forever to watch the anime I want. So I watch multiple series at once, like TheAncientOne said it gives you a variety.

Ever since I began watching anime religiously, I watched multiple shows. As someone said, it passes the time really well and I had quite a bit of it. I only watch "1" show if it's complete and I have the show at my expense to watch in one go. Even then after 4-5 I would go do something else. I just can't be tied down to one show since there are so many shows out there with such a variety of aspects to entice me to watch.

I watch around 5-8 anime at a time, sometimes it can become quite hard and you tend to forget about 1 or 2 before going back to them.

I watch multiple series, including catching up on old series I haven't seen yet. I don't fill out the "What You Watched Today" thing--why turn fun into work?

Easier to concentrate on one series for me at a time.

To how they can do it, I say time and they are used to it.

I have over 20 shows I'm watching concurrently, and it's usually never dropped below 5-6 at a time. I don't think it's because I've been watching anime for over 30 years; it's more so that I'm used to doing so. I'm home-bound for over 95% of the time, and I do my work from here as well, so it works well with both my schedule and circumstances.

Multiple series at a time. The disadvantage of this is that sometimes i end up getting left behind on an anime. I like the change of pace though. Going from action to comedy to romance in one day, instead of having action the whole time.
