I currently have 18 shows on my "Watching" list on MAL/My Anime List. Best thing is, almost all of those shows airs from Thursday to Sunday. So let's just say i don't do much besides watching anime at the end of the week.

I start up many series and once I get close to the end of many I drop it unless it's just too good not to finish. I hate the feeling of finishing a show and that's it there is nothing left for me to go back to.

^ There is no way i could ever drop something before I finish it. It'll make me feel like the anime 'journey' was for nothing. How do you do this?

Honestly? It's because I feel even worse when I finish something. I've been burned by weak endings before leaving a wholly unsatisfying conclusion as the last thing I remember about an anime. It's mainly with short anime series I do this, where there is a good chance everything important will be slammed into the last one or two episodes.

If I really am enjoying a show I finish it regardless but if it is good but if it's not "edge of my seat, must watch the next episode" good, I can safely drop it and move on to a new anime while still having a fond memory of the show I never finished.

I understand where you're coming from. I don't know if you've ever seen Skip Beat but that is an example of a ending I wished I would've skipped. It really just disgusted me how bad off they left things. I mean, regardless of not even concluding the series at least conclude an episode. But still I could never not watch the ending haha that would drive me crazy. I definitely see what you mean though. (The original Fullmetal Alchemist ending is another example of an anime ending I wish I wouldn't have seen. However, Brotherhood definitely solved the problem for me. )

I use to only watch 2 animes at a time but I'm starting to change it up a little this year. Before I would have whatever anime I wanted to marathon that week + Fairy Tail and now I have 3-4 I'm watching at the same time. I know its not much of a difference but one day I'll get to 6+ at a time!

I think I'm gonna start trying to train myself to watch multiple shows now too lol. After reading the argument "It's like watching different shows on tv" somebody posted it finally clicked that maybe I can do it too. But it'll probably be one at a time for me for a while since college is taking more and more of my time.

I don't know if there are others like me but for watching multiple series the same day is better because that way I don't get tired of watching the same show all day having said there are exceptions to this because there are show that you can watch all day without getting bore.
