This has been brewing in my head for years but i never talked to anyone about it. So i wanna know if i'm the only one who see so many similarities between the two manga/anime's?

Remind you i like both of them

They're both shonen jump manga, so basically everything. I doubt that you'll find a shonen manga that isn't similar in any way to each other ever.

well that's given when it comes to the natural structure of there story design and you can fill in anything and that's a shonen manga but in the hundreds of mangas i read none of them made me constantly think of another while i was reading/watching it the way they do.

When they power up, major power ups, their hair grows ridiculously long. I.E. Ichigo during the training between the real world and soul society. Aizen when he forces the hogyuku after being cut by

There are various other little quirks and similarities to DBZ.

1. The power ups... the main character always gets stronger after an opponent. The enemies are always stronger than the previous enemy...

2. The cheesy friendship/bond/saving the world themes.

3. When the hero and the villain fight each other, they explain their techniques... to one another. So lame. It makes the whole scene unrealistic. If you're fighting someone life/death, why the hell would you spend half the time TALKING?

4. The battle scene, most of the time, takes ONE WHOLE episode. Do we really need one whole episode dedicated to this vs that?

This is why I enjoy watching shows like Cuticle Detective Inaba, it parodies all those cheesiness ideas in popular animes.
