Sometimes I meditate before I go to sleep and end up passing out while doing it. Good sleep aid.

Meditation is really an amazing thing. Some people I've encountered think sitting still is stupid, boring, etc, but its quite therapeutic. Once you place yourself in a trance I swear you feel yourself getting lighter and lighter, and the whole experience becomes surreal. It's an amazing/spiritual exercise that I can guaranteed will lead to some type of growth. It's quite calming. I'd recommend everyone try it.

I've only done it a few times, but more than enough to believe that it works; however, my normally mellow moods and my short-lived bursts of temper don't give me much of a reason to practice it often, and I'd rather daydream; however, I recognize that the breathing exercises that go hand-in-hand with meditation are brilliant and bona fide treatments for asthma. If my asthma were to become troublesome again, I will meditate on a regular basis.
