Question for CrunchyRoll

Would it be possible to offer Anime with a choice for English audio. As much as I love anime in it's purest form, I would also really love to be able to change the audio to English. I would like my kids to be able to watch as well, and the youngest does not read as fast as the older kids.

Thanks in advance.

CrunchyRoll is pretty much exclusively subs and I wouldn't expect that to change any time soon due to licensing issues. You might wanna check Funimation's website for dubbed series.

Dubs are the worst! -.- There are only a special few who have great voice actors, but the rest.. Meh. I don't care if the site would get dubs, but I just think that there aren't a lot of good dubs out there-.-

And then there is the whole License issues. Maybe Crunchyroll could start their own Dubbing xD That would be interesting to see;) *Hopefully they know how get the best voice actors for each series.* ;D

Really, to be honest, I like most dubs. Most of the bad ones came out before Bebop or Eva. Not sure which one is older, but those two had pretty good dubs, and are both pretty old. Obviously something like Mobile Suit Gundam or Area 88 would have bad ones though, so those I usually sub, but I find most dubs are tolerable, if not pretty good.

Like Pomff suggested, your best bet is Funimation. They have a pretty large catalog of dubbed anime, since they dub it themselves. The EVS subscription there is the same as Crunchyroll. I'd advise an alternate way to view their videos though, like Roku or Hulu because their website and web player suck balls.

As much as I love anime, I have to say shouldn't you have you kids do more educational stuff rather than anime???

Not that I'm a parent but even I know learning the piano or the times-table is better than anime at an earlier age.
