Honestly I don't get turned on by either one, as in i dont have a sexual response to it. but I do have different reactions. If it's yuri i'll either think oh thats pretty funny. or oh thats cute. But when its yaoi, its always serious, or shocking.

I do a lot of fanfic writing for Yuri series so most certainly Yuri all the way.
Yaoi just holds no intrest for me.
It is our differences which make us unique!

i don't really mind either of them, however this does not mean that i watch any of these specific genres. And don't misunderstood me please. if i find the story to be interesting in either of the genre i would love to watch it. Through it saddens me to see how many people still neglect the idea of gay couples, which is shown throughout the thread.

I don't really care either way, as long as the characters themselves are enjoyable. Romance is like a bonus to me in anime, a good show should have something more than that to sustain my interest.

If you're asking genre-wise and show-wise, I'll say neither. There hasn't been one in both genre that I actually got into. I kinda tried, but neither is my thing.

Yuri is cute to me(Yuru Yuri)
Yaoi not so much, it really strange seeing a male act submissive and coy. I don't mind if it comes up in a show(Shinsekai Yori), but I don't watch series that label it as a major theme.
