Hey everyone, lugiamania here with a new catalog title announcement! We're pleased to announced that BOTH SEASONS of Arakawa Under the Bridge will be coming to Crunchyroll TODAY, January 29, 2013 at 5PM PST!

Arakawa Under the Bridge will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the United States and Canada. The first 6 episodes will be available for all users, with the rest available for Premium Members.

Official Synopsis from NIS America:

Ko Ichinomiya's family motto is "Never be indebted to anyone," but after losing his pants and falling into the Arakawa River, he quickly finds himself in debt to his savior, the cutely insane Nino (who happens to live under the bridge). To repay her, he vows to help her with her desire to "experience love." Along the way he'll meet the river's other residents, including a hot-blooded kappa, a Sister in drag, and a literal rock star. Sorry, Ko—when you fell into that river, I guess you really got in over your head!

How come all the new catalog entries are only available in America?

They are being provided by someone who only has North America rights, and in this case NIS America.

If Crunchyroll wanted to get Arakawa for Australia and New Zealand, they'd have to work something out with Hanabee.

As mentioned, they are coming from a company that only has US/Canada rights. This title was already available on Hulu, so CR is just acting as another digital outlet for NISA.

Hey, nice! I didn't even expect more stuff. And wait, there's -4- more announcements? Man, CR never ceases to amaze me. I never regret paying my subscription here. I can't say the same about other streaming video services.
