Baccano's dub was really well done imo. You just have to have that mobster accent if you're making a story about mafias in New York.

Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, and Hellsing Ultimate, and Gurren Lagann are the one's that come to mind, because the voice actors are awesome. Oh and Ghost in the Shell 2. That movie is almost impossible to watched subbed if you want to know what's going on and enjoy the animation. Anything with a really complicated or esoteric plot is easier to digest dubbed. That being said I do prefer subbed 80% of the time. I can't stand Bleach and Naruto dubbed. The voice acting is horrendous....

If there is a dub that's easy to find I'll watch it, unless it's horrible. I've only come across a few that were "unlistenable". I am a dub supporter all the way!

Only Cowboy bebop. Every other dub is just god awful. They always mispronounce names (as someone who's Japanese listening to mispronounced names and places makes me sick), they don't properly express the emotions of the actual Japanese script. 90% of the time they sound fake, it's hard to explain how but they just seem wrong. usually they choose someone who doesn't even fit. The Japanese voice actors are just better at fitting the roles.

the only reason to watch Dubs are if you are literally unable to keep up with subs because you read at a slow pace.Because it is not difficult by any stretch of the imagination to read subs (in my opinion), watch the screen and listen to the Japanese Voice actors, i was able to do it in grade 5 so most of you should be able to do it. If you actually can't read the subs properly then by all means watch the dubs, but i feel that you are missing out on one of the elements of the show.

ps. sorry for sounding like a douche.

Edit- Forgot about Baccano and Hetalia, those are well done Dubs.

I can can keep up with subs without a problem, but I prefer to listen to English dubbed anime over the subbed version (because I speak English). I have a few shows that I only watched subbed like Serial Experiments Lain, but only because I watched it subbed years before I saw the dubbed version. I also have watched and continue to watch a lot of foreign films......Subbed. My mother loved to catch the next big foreign films when they came out, so as a kid I was watching subbed films before I even knew what a subtitle was. I read books when I have a lot of free time (can't stand manga because it is just a comic book, but I read light novels from time to time). It all comes down to your personal preference, not knowledge.

PS. Hetalia and Baccano are better dubbed (have actual accents), subbed Spike (Cowboy Bebop) and subbed Dutch (Black Lagoon) really fit the character they try to portray, and subbed Van (Gun X Sword) just sounds like a dope. (Sorry for sounding like a douche)

the Op's list is quite good actually and I have to add Ouran host club, they did a nice job with the casting for those characters and its one of the few I'll watch either dubbed or subbed.
