Despite being someone who is rather lackadaisical in school, I have a tendency to get good results. Besides, who cares about that anyway, that's not even why I'm starting this topic.

I was wondering what class or subject you have/had the most fun in in school, if any. With some exceptions.

So, excluding P.E., Home economics and Art, what is/was the subject you have/had the most fun in in school?

For me, surprisingly, it's maths! My teacher kinda turns a blind eye to me and my friend talking, because we always get the highest results, and therefore it's a chance for me to have a laugh.

For me it was sociology and psychology since I had one the first semester and the other the second semester and it was both with the same teacher. He didn't care about really teaching either of those since he was also a social studies teacher. We just watched movies nonstop the entire year and would get Bs if we put anything on the tests at all. We were allowed to use our books for every test even the finals and I still put things like "I have no clue" or "42" as my answer for things and still got a B. I remember at one point he told us that he wanted us to watch a movie that day but unfortunately it needed to have a parents signature allowing it and so we had to find some way to bring it back to him within 5 minutes with our parents signatures on it.The movies could be tied in with the subjects at least though and we would talk about it a little bit. Ultimately in the end though neither he nor the rest of the class cared and so we all won.

English, mainly because it was always my favourite subject, but also because I had fun teachers and friends in that class. Math was only really fun for me thanks to having friends in the class, I'm terrible at math and my teacher wasn't particularly great.

You know, I'm sitting here unable to pick out one single subject in school that I like above all others... I'm one of those people who enjoys everything at school and is excited by just the prospect of new knowledge.

However, I must say that math and physics in particular have never really been my thing (which may partly explain why I'm in Biology ). I liked math in high school because it was fun and the teacher was great, and my calculus teachers in College were great fun, but the math itself started being too much for me (though it's still a great feeling when you finally solve a problem). I struggled through my physics courses until I took Astrophysics and discovered that it could be fun. Overall, I've always loved everything at school.

^ I've always wished I could've been one of those people who just loved learning new things. I enjoy learning but if it gets too complicated (like math would) my brain just tends to automatically shut itself off to conserve energy or something lol.

But even though all my teachers blew balls with this subject my favorite was always history. I don't know why. It was just always so interesting to. Maybe because it was an easy subject as well due to it only being memorization all the time.

Science.

It was so fun to learn about atoms and molecules. I had a good science teacher from grades 9 to 10... which influenced my liking for science.

Before that, I was more an English person. But I had really bad English teachers for 5 out of 6 years of high school :-( So I got really bad grades in high school for English.
And I'm not even going to start with my Music teacher. A music teacher that doesn't teach you how to play the piano... -__-;;;

I wasn't expecting her to teach me one on one, but seriously during our practical everyone just listen to music, she didn't bother telling the class how to sight read or how to place fingers properly on the piano. She just sat there and let everyone do random things.

I feel like I have a lot of potential that could have been polished by the right instructor...

That's why it's important, if anyone here has a child who likes music, to send him/her to a school that specialises in Music not a normal high school.

Socializing with my friends.
And the glorious library, and numerous selections my school library has to offer.
As for subjects? PFFFT. I despise most of my classes at the moment.

History is probably the one I enjoy the most and that gets boring sometimes.
Like someone said, my brain tends stop following the lesson and start thinking about other stuff that has nothing to do with school.
