Have you ever MET a celebrity?
|
After seeing the forum topic "Are you related to any famous people" and sitting here, sad, alone, crying, etc. I decided instead to ask, have you ever MET a celebrity. Now, if you're related to them, that's fine too to post here, but mainly just the most famous people you've met! Just so that people don't feel too left out. I'm sure I've met more famous people but I can't remember lol. I have bad memory.
Btw, this can be voice actors, actors, politicians, ANYONE, I just happened to have met a lot of sports people xD 1. Jamie Carragher 2. Paddy Christie 3. James McCarthy |

I met Rob Van Dam ( A pro wrestler ) in a grocery store parking lot. Briefly met Jennifer Granholm (Politician) when she visited a factory I was working at.

YES! I lost my job because George Clinton and the P Funk All Stars (AKA Parliament Funkadelic) caught me sleeping in the hallway by the "green room" while I was working security at their concert, it was like 3 in the morning and when they came off stage I was crashed in a chair where I had a magnificent view of about 8ft of hallway and a right turn. I heard George say, "Grab that white boy he can't be sleeping back here." They then dragged me into the green room and handed me a cigar box full of blunts and told me to pick one. After we had about 4 of those circling around one of them tapped me on the shoulder and nodded toward the door, my boss was standing there with a disappointed look on his face because I had broken his cardinal rule, "Get high on your own time." That was the best way to lose a job ever!
I regret nothing .Also working security I've met Marilan Manson, Missy Eliot, the members of Black Eyed Peas, and got to pet a $20,000 Lipezzaner stallion. |

I met Nine Inch Nails and got a signed broken guitar from them. I'll upload a picture if anybody cares. No? Ok.

That is one hell of a story for the grandkids, sounds like you had an awesome job. And you lost it in the best way possible! :D |

You got a nice story out of meeting George Clinton but sadly I wouldn't be at all interested in meeting those last ones mentioned. I would probably blow them off. xD Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I love Penn and Teller. They almost always amuse me when I see them on TV. |

I met Eddie McClintock (Pete from Warehouse 13) at Comic Con a year or two ago. Had a nice conversation and he even called my mom (who is a big fan of his, and was his idea. Obviously from my phone.) to talk with her for a few minutes.

Does a REALLY good and famous football coach count as a celebrity?

Life is an empty canvas being slowly painted.

A lot of celebrities would blow the idea off immediately. |

I've met a ton of wrestlers. My friends uncle used to run the WWE Smackdown events in the late 90's so I got to go backstage and met HHH, Edge, Christian (He was a dick) Eddy Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and ton of others. Big Show was the coolest guy by far. He actually wanted to hang out with us. I also met Mark Henry and the Rock at a gas station after a RAW show in like 97 I think. I've also met a ton of MC's and DJ's, but it's a long list. No movie stars though unless you count the Rock...

I met the two Popes. I didn't actually meet them in the typical sense, but I have been in very close physical proximity to them. I was very near the previous Pope and the current Pope. I don't know how the previous Pope is, but the current Pope had an evil vibration.

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

I've meet a few, mostly bands while helping friend by filming some freelance interviews he did.
I meet all the members of Theory of a Deadman, Halestorm, Burn Halo, Saving Abel, and Sick Puppies. |

Mostly through a previous job - George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Peter Mayhew, Adam & Jamie from the Mythbusters, off the top of my head. Do official costumes from movies count? I got hugged by the 'real' Darth Vader outfit once upon a time (long story)...
