In High School, I smoked a lot of weed, drank with a vengeance and smoked like a chimney. I also skipped most of the school day and frequented friends classes that I wasn't in. I used to go after the nice girls. One girl I had been dating broke up with me out of the blue, I was confused so I asked around. Turns out her friends convinced her I was a bad idea. I confronted her and she admitted it. A few minutes later I talked her back into it, but her friends continued to pressure her until I couldn't take the drama anymore and moved on.

Yes, when her friends keep being lovely dovey on the side while she is wondering why you are busy looking so disgusted instead of being all lovely dovey with her too. Gross.

The thought that she wanted me to put on a show for others made me sick too.

Certainly. I have good friends that keep me away from bad influences when I walk blind in life sometimes.

No one should ever let their parents, friends, co-workers or anyone else influence their decision on the person they are with, they can take advice but that is it nothing else. Otherwise you're doing a injustice to anyone you're with. That was part of the reason why my last relationship broke up. I really believe my other was swayed to much by others, she even started acting like others when I was around her toward the end doing things she normally has serious pet peeves against.

Edit: I very strongly believe it's wrong to let your morales go down the tubes because of your friends, you should never change who you are unless it's for your significant other. There is no excuse for it ever. Especially if you claim to be a certain way and put others down who are not capable of meeting up to those standards.

I agree one-hundred percent with you.

I'd add in my own two cents, but I'm way too sleepy right now.

I have buddy that wants a relationship since being a neet is becoming depressing.
Haha he was inspired of how I'm trying to steal the heart of a Spanish girl I've been friends with in Espana (it's going good so far XP), how my other buddy just ask a girl out who'd been living near his apartment for three years and another who is a man whore that doesn't seem to find the right girl XD

Yep definitely! I know you shouldn't let others sway your judgement, but sometimes we all cave in to peer pressure. Happened to me once a few years back... and I kinda regret it now!

That is up to you if you want to be influenced. Keep an open mind and do not favor one over the other.
