Is there any chance that this particular Anime will ever see the light of day on Blu-Ray? Is there any hope for it?

Yes, I know imports aren't cheap, I buy them. They asked if Index is on BD. It is. Region A BD is North America too, not just JP. Plays great in our BD players. No subs though.
