I use Firefox for CR, and have never had any problems with it. The streaming was fast, the picture quality was good, and there was no crashing. I have no complaints with it.

I usually use IE for watching videos (it's my default browser) and have no problems, but recently for some reason I can't add people to my buddies list or preview forum posts on IE (it used to work just fine so not sure what the deal is). I don't' have to do either often but when I do I switch to Firefox and it works fine.

Chrome. I prefer the interface over Firefox, but I wouldn't use anything other than them.

Since the ridiculous jump in used memory of Firefox 20 and up, I have expanded my use of Opera to streaming video.

Firefox - a good idea with stupid developers who anger the hell out of you since it became popular...

The reason seems to be that when you go on CR via IE, IE runs itself in IE7 or IE6 compatibility mode (I don't recall which) when you're viewing the site in ie10. Imo this is bs, I've sent a few messages to crunchyroll support and they have yet to fix this, even though it would only take a line or two of code to do so. Seriously, ridiculous.

I use chrome/chromium to access the site otherwise. I hate firefox, it has absolutely sucked performance-wise since v4.

Yeah bjaker helped me with this problem as well. You can press shift+F12 and at the top of the bar that appears click on the "Document mode: IEX Standards"

Change that to IE9 standards and you can click on forum buttons like preview and be able to add friends again. IE 7 standards doesn't work for these things and every time you visit the site it will automatically set it to IE7 standards if you have closed internet explorer.

Personally I still like using IE explorer. Just keep the bar open minimized and you can change the document mode whenever you want anyway.

I see thanks for the info. I haven't used chrome before but maybe I will try it since I can't stand Firefox either.

Edit:

@ Mycow8m I just saw you post thanks for information on the fix, I tried it and it works.

I'm using Torch browser, and I guess that most of you don't know it, so it's a chromium-based browser that also enables me to download videos directly off the browser.
