In which case I would rate Hell Girl a -1. Another and Higurashi are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more scary than this will ever be. Hell Girl is more like Aesop's Fables than a slasher flick. lol

You are almost glad when she takes some of these people away, even if it dose mean someone innocent gets taken down with them

But that's how the world really works--the innocents are slaughtered in whatever period and culture, simply because they are easy victims. When Hell Girl holds up that mirror on human behavior, it becomes horrifying indeed.

You should watch it if you havn't all ready its pretty awesome!! At first you will be like what...than you will be like cool Im going to watch all the seasons till I can't keep my eyes open haha.

But it sounds like it goes into some pretty deep stuff. I'm gonna check it out. Appreciate it bud.

Shion and Rena scared the living crap out of me....Shuddered

Some leave you scratching your head, some leave you shaking your head, and yet some have you anxious to see the person sent to hell. I'd say about a 5, the half-way point, because the true terror in this series is humans and what they do and capable of. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The fact that several people are sent to hell for simple reasons of just being generally disliked for no reason at all, or looking at a person wrong is disturbing. The fragility of human life.
