I like Facebook, but I use it for friends that do not live nearby or people I meet at conventions or groups.

I also use it to keep informed of companies activities.

# Hastags have started being used on facebook instead of twitter....It's killing it for me, though I was never very fond in the first place.

Safe to say people who use hashtags in posts on my friends list get deleted from my account very quickly.

I think the hashtags may come from their twitter and facebook accounts being linked...so if they post something on twitter, it posts to facebook as well and in the same format (unfortunately).
There is a way to block someone's twitter feeds I believe. I did it to someone, but now I don't remember exactly how (lol).

I wish that was true! Most of the people I have checked were doing it on purpose because they think it's cool.

Sadly some very cute girls who posted nice pictures from time to time had to be removed for my own sanity.

I dont know much about Facebook b/c i'm new to it myself, but it seems ok so far, just need to get use to it, seems like it will take time before you fully understand it, i'm still have some trouble with it. All I will say is, CR is a lot easier to use from what I can tell.

Everything about it is negative, the only positive thing is if you don't have someones number you can message them there,
other than that everything on there is utterly pointless.

I used to be one of those people who said they would never need or create a Facebook account, and was I wrong about that. While I do like having thought provoking intellectual discussion with the few friends I am acquainted with who aren't preoccupied posting up links to craptastic "music", posting photos of what they had for lunch the other day, a vague post meant to insult someone they hate without directly mentioning names (a cowardice act); things that I couldn't give a second's thought of consideration about. It's not a problem with Facebook, but rather the people using it.

I used to use it, for about a year and a half. But then I got tired of it, and there was drama. So I stopped using it.

But there were still apps that use facebook, and having an account would make it easier to log into some sites and participate in contests. And I figured it would be a good way to keep in touch with cosplayers and people I met at conventions. So I made a new account, and just use it for game and anime-related stuff. It's more relaxing now. I maybe check it once a day or once a week.

What a visual mess, i absolutely hate looking at it

Facebook seems to pretty tone deaf when it comes to privacy and things will likely irk their users and seem to have little regard for their users selected preferences as evidenced by occasional resets and limiting of privacy settings. For example, having their app silently change email addresses in their users contact lists to an @facebook address so they can inject themselves into their user's conversations. Now they may have plans for constant geo location tracking.
