I'm not very impressed with the specs of the ps4. They might of learnt from their mistakes with the ps3. I'm just impressed with the lack of power the GPU puts out

It's roughly equivalent to a high end computer right now... did you want an 8000 dollar supercomputer? Just curious.

PS4 controller is exactly what we had seen. It also has an improved version of sixaxis controls, adopting principles from Kinect. Kinda...obnoxious. The touch pad and the motion controls will almost undoubtedly lead places that they shouldn't.

I'm sure Kinect is a rip-off and improvement of the PS2 camera, Eyetoy. Did everyone forget about it? So I don't really understand why you say the PS4 controller adopts principles from Kinect...

Well honestly I'm not to fussed. Like you said it's roughly equivalent to a high end pc, what is disappointing in my eyes. As a pc can get better and better with just a simply GPU driver update. While the ps4 will just stay at the same rate. Even tho it will take devs a few years to truly push its limits. Making it really a mid range gaming pc.

The really big thing is that we're not likely to see GRAPHICS move much beyond what we have now for a long time.(prolly not until 4k monitors/tvs become the standard, or possibly when VR/holographic style things happen)

What we're going to see are more... features and the like. Graphics are about as good as they can be until we have some major DISPLAY tech advancement... but features... that's where we can move forward a lot right now.

It's not as flashy, but it makes a huge change in how games are played, and what we can do with them. And that's what we're able to get excited about... assuming that makes you excited.

Ever new bit of tech that comes out get me excited. The whole new console battles will be wetting my mouth, even the smallest detail. I will admit my last post was mean, specially the mid range gaming pc comment.

The only thing I can understand is why Sony did wait until the new architecture of GPU comes out next year. I'm sure it's going to be a beast when it hits the shops tho. Just hope they don't rush it out tho and hopefully what they promise, they actually do. Unlike all the broken promise.

Just E3 needs to hurry up. So all use gamers can get a good look and see the thing in action

HA!! I watched a good portion of the live stream but everything I saw can pretty much summed up in the 0:04 - 0:06 time frame part of the abridged version.

I honestly thought the Playstation 4 event was good. There was a few massive improvements over the Playstation 3. The ability To play a game you purchase on psn while it is downloading in the background. The ability to try every game before you buy it Via streaming it from the Playstation Cloud. The ability to download content and updates while the playstation 4 is turned off. Sony saying games basically instantly load so no more waiting at loading screens. Not to mention going from 720p to 1080p when gaming. Is a huge difference if your playing on a huge tv.

Sony's partnership with Ustream to allow you to share your game play achievements with others. Fps fans will love this. The ability to take over a friends controller on a hard level they cant beat and beat it for them. The news Sony is working hard on trying to have the developer's to add Remote Play Via the Playstation Vita. The announcement that the Playstation 3 and the Vita will one day get Gaikai added to them. The announcement that the Playstation 4 will be easier to develop for due to it being similar to a Computer. And alot more features.

In my opinion even all the games that was shown looked great. Killzone Shadowfall looked amazing plus it is a good series. Infamous Second Son Also looked amazing. In my opinion Infamous games tend to be the funnest games around now days. The news that Destiny is coming to Playstation 4 and is getting exclusive content. Thats the game made by the Halo Dev Bungie. Deep Down the WIP by Capcom looked great. The Watch Dogs gameplay footage was awesome. The news that Diablo 3 is coming to Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. The news that a new Final Fantasy is coming. Plus the new Footage of Final Fantasy X hd on Vita. Drive Club looked great to. And Knack look's like it could be fun to.
