The Most Depressing Anime you've ever seen

One show that managed to depress me both watching the show, and when it ended (hoping for more), and that show is:

Welcome to the NHK. Very depressing subject matter about a man who tries to overcome something but isn't able to do it.

Certain Gintama arcs move me to tears (not depressing, but sad)...Especially Sougo's Sister Arc

Shows that I was depressed that they ended leaving me sad after finishing it are:

Just finished watching Guilty Crown and that show is pretty sad too though you basically know how it's going to end right from the start. As an aside, Guilty Crown has some fantastic music though I must say I'm biased, I'm a huge fan of Ryo from Supercell and Supercell in general

I mean that show seems to be built for the purpose of crushing peoples hopes and dreams. I mean honestly even in the end its questionable whether or not things get any better and even if they do is at best still bittersweet.

It just seems like they're trying to hard. It just reminds me of American Dad's Oscar Gold joke (where they screen a trailer for a ridicuosly depressing movie) and fails to effect me.

School Days! gawd i hated how depressing that was... it took me soo long and a lot of hallarious anime's to not feel so depressed! WARNING do not watch these anime at the same time like i did!!! ;A;
