With fair share of limitations on certain things i'd say Welcome to the NHK and Black Lagoon if you mean realistic as in relevant and consistent throughout the story as to what can happen/is happening in the real world then those are the only two that come to mind atm

5 Centimeters Per Second

I'll have to put that on my "what to watch next" list

bebop may push the plausibility a bit but it's not that far off although I think Planetes dose a better job on the more near term projections of space exploration. one things for sure the creators of Planetes did their homework and produced a realistic anime that is also enjoyable.

My Little Monster

An anime where a girl gets punched by a guy (by accident)? Yes please! Can't get more real than this, lol.

Flowers of Evil

An anime where the main female lead isn't some angel housewife quality sort of girl? YES PLEASE.

Hmmm...

Monster - Gritty realistic story of a Japanese doctor practicing in Europe, framed for murder. Trying to discover if he is responsible for saving the life of the person that became a prolific and horrible serial killer and manipulator and put a stop to him.

Phantom: Requiem For The Phantom - Dark tail of a Japanese tourist/student kidnapped in America, brainwashed into becoming the world's most infamous assassin. His struggle to maintain his identity and humanity all the while being pulled along and into a war for America's underground crime world.

The most realistic I've watched? I'd have to say that would be Sword Art Online. The fact that it's set in the real world makes it more plausible already than a metal boy with his magical brother, a boy with a drill that will pierce the heavens, or a time traveling band of mafioso. (But I adore Reborn)

The end result sure is more realistic than 90% of harem/school life anime, extreme though it may be.

Yeah...I don't think it's more realistic at all. If anything it's less so.
