Summary: Post AMVs that inspired you to watch an anime or just AMVs of a very high caliber, along with the name of the Anime(s) in question, to help others discover the anime you love.

Reason I made this thread: I looked around CR and was surprised to not find this sort of thing already. I found several threads on recommendations. (And if I missed someone else doing this already I apologies?)

Personally I find that unless I am looking through MyAnimeList, CR's News Feed Summaries on new/current Anime, or been recommended something by a friend; that one of my main source for discovering or choosing to watch an anime is from AMVs. So to keep things sort, post AMVs; which were good enough to make you watch an anime, or that you think are good enough to sell us on watching an anime, or animes.

Edit: Perhaps I was miss phrasing myself. When I say inspired me to watch an anime, I don't mean I see an anime than go "I am going to watch that" now. I meant it more in the fact that an AMV may be interesting enough to put an anime on my radar, making me go and look it up and if the plot summary seems interesting then go watch it.

I've already seen all these shows before I found these AMVs/MADs... that's what I usually do: watch a show then look up AMVs for it.

That gave me really strong recollections of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

unfortunately, mahoromatic suffers from the stigma of being an ecchi harem gainax anime, but the story and the romance between suguru and mahoro is awesome, which is what this AMV really focused on.

I was honestly always on edge about Madoka, as I feared I'd suffer from "hype backlash" as always do when I watch popular animes, but this AMV certainly changed my mind in an instant. It really brings out the visual beauty of the show, and I immediately watched Madoka after finding it. I don't regret it, either; I still suffered from hype backlash, though. ~Oh well~, still a fantastic AMV and the only AMV to ever make me watch an anime; not that I watch AMV's often.
