I've broken both wrist several times and my left knee is shot. This is all due to speed skating, break dancing, BMX, and jumping off the occasional roof in my youth. I never let anything heal properly, and now as I'm older (old actually) it's coming back to haunt me...

I've once dropped a bucket on my toe, resulting in swelling and blackening. Three months of pain so excruciating that it interfered with my academic concentration, sleep, and physical movement, to the point that I would've considered suicide a more generous alternative. Went to have it checked out by a physician and they recommended amputation to prevent gangrene, that was not going to happen by my say. A month's worth of homeopathy, tons of pain-killer and blood thinner, the loss of a toenail later. My toe healed up, is perfectly normal again, and I avoided a $14,000 medical procedure and less one toe had I gone through with the alternative path. Absolutely the worse.

Other injuries include having test driving then subsequently crashed a motorcycle into a street light, again scuffed up my foot, ankle, and knee badly, only fracturing, bruising and crutch for a year. Got hit by bottle rockets, tied three of them together and the expected trajectory was unexpected, left temple, left upper arm, left forearm, and went temporarily deaf.

Got run over by a car while in the crosswalk. My face slammed into the windshield and shattered all but 4 of my teeth.

When I was in the hospital after the accident, the sun was setting so I told the nurse "that it was getting dark in here". The staff freaked out because they thought I was dying. All I wanted them to do was turn on the over head light.

Rusty nail in big toe, hole in shin (tripped on someone's bike), 2 head injuries where I lost consciousness/ability to move temporarily, tip of pinky finger cut off, knife in palm of hand, assorted burns on arms & hands, barbwire scraped up ankles (Army orientation training in the woods/AFJROTC). The rest of my scars are from surgery, pregnancies, IV's, and other medical procedures. Had some sprains, but never broke a bone.

I had a huge metal keg of beer fall on my foot, (when I was a barback) surprisingly it didn't do much damage.

For me, the circumstances behind its occurrence were belittled by the resulting damage that far exceeded it. You are lucky, and that's an understatement.

a window screen fell on my head when i was a kid, and it made a bloody scar on my forehead. sisters called me "mary potter" (in ref. to harry potter) for it.

i adopted a stray cat when i was younger and it had kitties. one kitty scratched me deeply in the arm and it was about 3 inches long. i placed her in a laundry basket and poked her with a stick once for doing so. she shat herself and i felt bad after :<

another kiddy story was when i played with legos all day and left them on the floor. when i jumped down from the bed, i slipped on one and had a bloody nose and mouth.

when i was around 4, i accidentally slapped my hand onto a newly sharpened pencil. i refused to get the lead out cuz i was scared of needles.

Well, I've never broken any bones.
The only thing that has being really detrimental to my health was back when I was 14 and decided it would be a good idea to spend an entire day out in the hot Florida sun with no sun screen on. The couple of weeks following were not pleasant because of the sun poisoning.

Sun poisoning has gotten me too. A part of my ear was so badly burnt it looked deformed like a part had been burnt off >_<

Hmm, Injuries. I have plenty, here's a few to start

- A nail in the foot on four separate occasions
- Grassburn that occupied nearly my whole right forearm
- A bullet wound in my left foot
- Chipped tooth after falling down a flight of stairs
- Akwardly bent toe from a soccer accident
- Permanent crick in my neck after being hit by a car while riding my bike.
- Scars left from blood transfusions after a near fatal encounter with Lead poisoning.
...
I have a high tolerance for pain, or maybe I'm just a masochist.

You dummy, shooting yourself/getting shot in the foot Is that what gave you lead poisoning?

Well, if it's any consolation I was putting my finger (and other things) in electrical outlets until I was 16. I liked the blue ball of flame that would hang in the air for a fraction of a second when I shorted it out. Apparently I also have a masochistic tolerance for pain.

The only awesome thing I've had happen is bruising from a bowstring. Those buggers are big. The bandages I used over them looked cool though.

Do heartbreaks count? Because I had one where I was depressed for one week. I went on a date with this guy who looks like Andrew Garfield... and even though he bored me, I thought he was really good looking!
But after the date he said he was straight (WTF?????) I think he noticed that I was drawing on the car windows while we were conversing... I was bored to death of talking. But it still hurt because I don't think I could ever score anybody as hot as that ever again...

When I was 5, I had a bike accident and my head was bleeding, they took me to the hospital and stitched my head while I was awake... (WTF!!) and it hurt!

And the worst part was my parents weren't there, family friend was there, and he held my hand the whole way through which was comforting. But I still wished I had my parents there.

When I was in second grade, I was being stupid and slipped on a wet slanted [ / ] pole I was trying to balance on. I ended up hitting the side of my head with the edge of the concrete the pole was attached to. At first I didn't really realize that I was hurt and just got back up. It wasn't until some friends crowded around me that I realized I was bleeding like crazy. Ended up have to get stitches by the corner of my right eye. Doctor said I was lucky; it was only less than 2 mm from tearing through to my eye.

I have two scars on my right leg; one on the knee for landing on a concrete edge and the other from "brushing" against my mother's drawer shelves when she was redecorating.

In tenth grade, I received a second degree burn on my right hand. My family was away except for my sister and I. She decided to cook something and ended up forgetting about it when she got distracted by the computer. Having just woken up at the time I wasn't paying attention to anything else but when I looked up in the bathroom mirror, in the corner I saw flames rising up from a spot in the kitchen. I panicked; I grabbed the handle, placed it in the sink, and turned on the water. Thankfully, because of the flames, I went around the sink and turned it on from behind and thus only received burns on my hand (had I turned it on from the front, my whole face would be the one burned). I received minor burns on my left arm and legs (barely even visible now), burned half my eyelashes off, and singed half my just-cut-the-day-before-already-short-hair. Four days later, I had to write the high school mandatory Literacy Exam. ^^;

Later in high school, I wasn't in the best place of my life.

Apart from those, I'm very accident prone at work. But everything I get there pretty much heal within the day (except for one sprained ankle a few months ago).
