As most of you have heard by now, a new Anime series titled "Log Horizon" will start broadcasting this Fall, and it's extremely reminiscent of Sword Art Online. Judging from the art style, it looks very cool. I'm really liking the character designs. I just don't know if this show will be worth watching if the story is basically the same as SAO. Have any of you read the manga?

It looks more like a adventure/fantasy anime more then a survival/fantasy anime like soa, even though a lot will argue that soa is an adventure anime it doesn't have the traveling that adventure animes have in them, and also comparing the art with only this much is like judging a book by its cover. They don't have no anime still shots out yet (searched to see) so theres no telling what the animation might look like even the orginal Japanese site only has profiles of the characters from a drawn perspective not the animated. Also the crunchyroll article done about this states that the author is the same as the person from Maoyu so we should probably more likely expect something closer to that not soa.
