I think guys look nice with jewelry as long as its not overly excessive jewelry especially those really long chains, that is ridiculous.

What if I'm a dope MC and I need my fat dookie gold rope to represent? Is that acceptable? I mean I gotta come correct know what I'm saying...

I actually thought about buying a dookie chain the other day.

Do it, do it now (said in thick Austrian accent)! Schwarzeneggerese if you will. I had a fat dookie rope in the 10th grade. shit wasn't real though, Swap Shop Special...

Bwahahahahaha! Yea, I remember back in the day when I used to rock fake jewelry. I graduated from the fake stuff when I got my first pair of white gold diamond earrings and a gold grill. Ahhh... Those were the days

I love jewelry mostly rings and earrings, for guys it depends. Most men wear some jewelry, watches, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. They are just accessories.

Too much is tacky and very showy. depends on what tyupe of girl you are trying to hook. Personally I don't like "blingy" men.

Um..superficial men (or women, for that matter) generally don't interest me, and I'm assuming that them being so is a strong possibility why they have "bling" in the first place. The men I've known who are annoy the crap out of me, talking about nothing but stupidity.

If a guy is wearing more jewelry than his lady, its just tacky.
I personally don't like anything more than earrings.

Some jewelry isn't bad. And as long as the guy gets nice looking pieces that aren't insanely gaudy I don't have a problem with it.

Now if the guy has a TON of 'bling' and it's just hideous gold /diamond then I just figure he's peacocking and I avoid him.

Like.....piercings?
That's the only kind of jewelry I think looks good on a guy.

If your a MC why do you need a "gold rope" to represent. Do you really need that or do you just want to be portrayed like all the other MCs that wear ridiculous long chains all the way down to belly buttons. It is not a question of whether it is acceptable or not if you feel like you need to represent or do you then go ahead but it's not really about the bling it's about your skill and your swag, you know what I'm saying....

I find it a complete turn off. Though expensive watches IMO look good on a well dressed well groomed man. I prefer he smell nice instead of jewelery.

First of all it was a throwback joke to the early days of hip hop when all MC's rocked fat dookie gold chains. If you know your hip hop then your comment is irrelevant

Well excuse me for not knowing a throwback joke! Whether I know hip hop or not is irrelevant on your part sir if you want to state the obvious.

I don't mind a dude who wants to wear a bit of bling or jewelery, but If you're one of those guys who's covered head to toe in it, or you spend all that money on bling and have nothing else much to speak of that you own, then you have issues.
