Everyone here should have an idea of what he's talking about, chi and Kai are pretty much this energy he speaks of. Goku, Naruto, and many other of our favorite anime characters utilize this energy. It's written about in ancient folklore.
Fung Shui is based on the principle of aligning yourself and your belongings with the natural energy of the world around you. This is also, I believe, the energy that ghosts and spirits are made of, that someone in death who has a strong desire to remain for whatever reason. Will be able to maintain a kind of consciousness as weak, free floating energy. It is the stuff of the soul. |

it's not science at all, science is used in this case to try to prove it in order to make it aknowleged by everyone.
however, this has nothing to do with science. the "idea" of the existence of this energy was developed thousands of years ago, and is intergrated in ancient traditions, and culture. but another example is bujutsu, in bujutsu it is kown (not believed, but known!) taht this energy and "aura" does exist. futhermore when someone reaches a high level they start to learn how to use and target this energy. i can understand people don't believe this but it is true, but just because most people can't explain it it is hard for them to believe in it's existince. |

There is no physical evidence for it existing, it's about as real as the tooth fairy. |

It just is, was, and can be. Present, past, future. That's time. It has no matter. So no space but time it has. Still it cannot be found. I believe it can be felt under certain circumstances...

There is no physical evidence for it existing, it's about as real as the tooth fairy. and that is the problem, as i said "it can't be explained so people don't believe it". but what you are saying isn't right, it can be and has been proved several times. for example: there have been many times where people used thermal camera's which were able to register the location and movement of the energy because of it's heat. however there are many different kinds of energy, and can be used for many different things from healing to fighting. so the only REAL problem is how to indentify something this diverse with just one method. It's not that it can't be explained, it's that it can't be proven. If it was proven we would all be studying it. It's fantasy. If it was proven, everyone would be studying it and using it. Hell, if it has been proven send the person to James Randi who offers a 1 million dollar prize for anyone capable! |

I am not saying that its all bad but believing in some thing bigger than us in which we can't measure isn't all bad either. Yeah i know what you mean but try to say things with some respect because saying that is dumb is just rude. Look at this "Believing that something we don't understand at the moment is made by something bigger than us just because of the lack of knowledge in the field is just stupid" Isn't this rude to you? Lol that why I said the dumb comment...have you read the religious post on this site? Take one look at the responses on many scientific minded responses and you will see that "dumb" is very childish and uncouth, yet nothing like the very mean hearted responses i saw...that is why I used for I was speaking to a child like know it all response of scientific absolutism which is in itself nothing but a afterschool special in that everyone wants you to believe what they believe.example: 3 kids with cigarettes try to entice a fourth kid to smoke...he says no and is now not "cool" and can't hang around them now that he didn't do what they wanted him to...this application is in itself an actual absolute(of course this is figurative) which brings everyone to this one question...with out friends and family or classmates nor co-workers around to hear your answer and that question is "what do you believe in"? Are you really atheist or do you think if you keep repeating that you are to friends, family or yourself in the mirror enough that you just might start to believe it? OR if you really believe in god when you come to church every Sunday? I know I went far away from your question and no this isn't directed at you but other scientific prophets out there. Scientific prophet is an oxymoron, and fucking horse urine shots? Are you serious? Show me one single published scientific paper on this and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but you sound like a crazy man right now. Horse urine? For fucks sake.... Ugh dude just Google it...its not that hard to find... I seen it on the discovery channel as part of a documentary on illnesses and cures...no it wasn't something a preacher told me if that's what you are worried about and that was a light one...there were many worse ones lol they happen all the time when something is on the news and you hear...Scientist's NOW say that there first assumption on(whatever it is insert) were totally off and now they say..blah blah blah...and the funny thing is no one questions them and later its changed again. And crazy lol ur too cute. Science by definition is the 'pursuit of knowledge', and not some amazing goody bag of facts to sort through.. Studies aren't expected to be right the first time. awesome....if only I would acknowledged it. but this is equivalent to reading a scripture out of a science-bible. Its all perspective of ones beliefs. So do you not agree that this in fact is the meticulous process that the scientific route follows, and that it is the pursuit of knowledge? If so, why? I can make a video of me conducting an experiment, and physically show you how the process works. I can also tell you what I learn from it. Proving both points. It's done in just about every 6th grade science class in the world. Here's a really, really stupid example. But hopefully you will find some humor in it. If somebody grabs a potato and pretends that he doesn't have the knowledge of how to cut it in half. He could theorize that slapping the potato with a stick will cut it in half, and then he gets a stick and tries slapping it a couple times. Does it work? No, theory failed. Now he gets a knife and cuts that bastard in half. Does the theory work? Yes, and the evidence that there is a cut in half potato supports it. Now he will make theories on how to butter that bitch up, so he can better understand the universe. Congratulations, if the person who cut the potato was initially brain dead, then that person is now an idiot who finally figured out how to cut a potato. However, it's knowledge gained, and believe it or not something that simple is science. Quicker examples would be to say that 1+1 = 2, or that if you punch yourself really hard it hurts. These are all testable results that are not subjective unless you are a rock or something. Proven results of higher levels of science are the same way. Especially when they have 20+ methods of testing the same thing, and all methods lead to the same conclusion every single time. For instance, carbon dating, one of many scientific tests to estimate the age of earthly things. |
