The best way for the world to end would for it to be compressed to the size of a ping pong ball. That's small enough for the earth to turn into a black hole. then it would begin to draw in everything the world has to offer. Seeing everything being stretched out to infinity would be an awesome trip.

I don't want it to end. But just for fun, I'll play along.
The world should end with God revealing him/herself to existing, much to the surprise of all the atheists, such as myself. He/She then strikes us all down in fiery rage for not universally accepting his/her existence. The atheists are punished for not believing,, the relgious folks are punished for not getting the atheist to believe. God restarts life on Earth and allows humanity to try again.
