So going by your logic, you closed your mind to science by believing spirituality, did you not? And hence, your innate hypocrisy has been found. And mine too. See? Isn't this fun? We're all hypocrites.

You're pretty annoying, justifying your hypocrite way's through my words. No, I always stood by science and spiritual guidance throughout my life. It's okay to hear out other peoples opinions but you just bash on them. You really have to put yourself in someone else's shoes to achieve an open mind.

No, an opinion of his doesn't necessarily mean he is closed-minded. Since you can't prove whether your god exists or not, you can only form an opinion of whether he exists or not, and opinions do not have to be permanent by any means. You shouldn't judge people based on their unproven opinions when they are willing to change these opinions at any point in time.

I suggest you read the other post before that one before you make a statement that isn't true. What you believe is what you believe,
I believe people that don't even believe in a shred of anything spiritual is closed-minded. That's my opinion.. yet you two are offended by it. Well, that is your problem.. not mine.

I am accepting of others opinion's, personality, lifestyle, etc, etc,. and yet from time to time I find myself being being judgmental towards them.

How did you come to the conclusion that my statement isn't true?
Why do you believe that non-spiritual people are closed-minded?
Why do you think I am offended by your opinion?

You called me judgmental, that is an insult.
They close their mind off to possibilities just because they can't see it.
I wasn't actually calling HIM close minded, I was setting an example because he got pissed off.
You people think nothing happens after death? We just dis ingrate into the ground?
Fine by me, in my OPINION that is closed minded.
There are other possibilities!
To just close your mind off to that is CLOSE MINDED.

You people piss me off, I want to rip your heads off and feed them to my pet dragon.
Nyu is hungry.
She was called a hypocrite AND judgmental over one statement. Yeah you're offended.

I apologize for offending you.

They close their mind off to possibilities just because they can't see it.

What makes you think they close their minds off?

I wasn't actually calling HIM close minded, I was setting an example because he got pissed off.

Then why would you frame him as being closed-minded just to set an example?

You people think nothing happens after death?

I have no idea what happens after death, so I don't have an opinion on the matter.

Fine by me, in my OPINION that is closed minded.
There are other possibilities!
To just close your mind off to that is CLOSE MINDED.

What makes you think that these people closed their mind off?

You people piss me off, I want to rip your heads off and feed them to my pet dragon.
Nyu is hungry.
She was called a hypocrite AND judgmental over one statement.

Why should this make you angry?

Yeah you're offended.

How am I offended?

I don't think your example makes you a hypocrite as logic is on your side. I'm not saying that there is definately no diety just there probably isn't. Christianity as it is widely known can be disproven as it states man is only 6000 years old. I don't really know enough about other religions to state anything definitive but unless you've had personal experience with something spiritual (even then you have to question whether you trust what you've seen/felt to be real) then it's better to assume that it doesn't exist, after all anyone can say anything exists and how can you prove something doesn't exist?

My little bit hypocrisy is that even though I've said all that about a diety I still believe certain things I haven't experienced/seen first hand such as: carbon dating, DNA, etc...

Interesting thoughts. Even with logic on my side, there are no hard facts. That's what I was trying to get at. I can hold my laptop over my head and let go of it. I know it will fall. It will fall and hit my head. That is fact, and I can prove it. I can in know way prove that God does not exist. It is both illogical and logical fr God to exist, so I don't believe logic saves me from being hypocritical.

Christianity is joke, however, I agree.

I share that one with you. I haven't seen my DNA before. lol

I think it is good to keep an open mind and to question yourself and your beliefs but I don't think it is hypocritical to choose to believe or not believe something if there cannot be facts to back it up, if you were to deny facts then it would. Though it could just be we have slightly different interpretations of the word hypocrite.

Asking the same questions over and over without getting what it actually means, thus, appearing to sound just like a 4-year old.

Don't expect me to know what it actually means until you answer my questions. Just because someone asks questions doesn't mean they are unintelligent.
