is there a way i can get email notifications for when new episodes are released for certain anime titles that are currently being simulcast?

I get an email... about 3 days after its simulcasted and I've already seen it. Which seems a little odd

If you add the shows you want notifications for in your queue, you can receive email notifications each time an episode is released.
Just make sure that in your account settings, under "email subscription", the box for queue updates is checked.
