lelouch Lamperouge off Code Geass, Alucard off Helsing and Kazuma off Kaze no Stigma. As Kazuma Yagami as he is known as both the protagonist and Antagonist. Therefore it makes him the anti hero who wants to do good but some times this brings him towards his violent and dark side.

Hei and Izaya Orihara are two of my faves as well.

I'd also add Shin from Gundam SEED Destiny.

Agree Kumagawa Misogi, even when he's being a good guy, he usually comes off as more villanous than heroic.

Bando, from Elfen Lied. If you completed the manga, you would know why he's an anti-hero even though in the anime he was just a complete douche

Sounds like a homosexual love obsession, no offense.

I think it's more offensive that you think homosexuality should be considered offensive

In any case; Anti-hero, my absolute favourite character archetype in anime. While I love to flaunt my knowledge of less popular anime as much as the next person, I can never abandon my love for Sasuke's character. Though depending on how the next few chapters go he may go from anti-hero to straight up villain.

Woh there. I'm actually homophobic o.o
but if you got that idea because of the dreamy part, well its because 99% of girls in the show reference him as that so yeah.

I'm not think that at all, it's just my comment could sound like I'm homophobic and don't approve of his sexuality. If he is a homosexual, which I don't think he is. I didn't want to offend him if he was. Get what I'm trying to say? Also:

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SlidingScaleOfAntiHeroes

Type I, Classical Anti-Hero: The original anti-hero, this exists somewhat outside of the scale and thus does not have a set morality, but still tends to be good at best or A Lighter Shade Of Gray neutral at worst.

Type II, Disney Anti-Hero: These are more unambiguously morally good, and some would even laud examples as grumpier versions of Incorruptible Pure Pureness Pillars of Moral Character. Knight in Sour Armor is the defining trope here.

Type III, Dangerous or Pragmatic Anti-Hero: These are iffier, but no worse than neutral. Some stay in the "good" category throughout. This type is willing to Shoot the Dog or otherwise do what they must do. Good Is Not Nice is the defining Trope here.

Type IV, Vicious Anti-Hero: These are the darkest possible while having fundamentally good intentions, making them always neutral. Pay Evil unto Evil is the defining Trope here.

Type V, "Hero" in Name Only: These are a Darker and Edgier neutral at best, and recurrently A Lighter Shade of Black aimed against greater evils. See Black and Gray Morality, He Who Fights Monsters.
