1. Contest to be announced on Feb. 8th, 2013.
2. Contest closes on Feb 21ST, 2013. Submissions must be received electronically by 5 p.m. EST, February 14th, 2013.
3. Winner will be chosen by Feb 23rd, 2013.

Eligibility

1. Winners are restricted to US and Canada, but international users may submit works, and still qualify for other prizing.
2. Entries must be produced and submitted by individual applicants, not groups or companies.
3. Individuals may enter more than one submission, but each entry must be submitted separately with all of the required information (see Submission, below) included.
4. Employees of FUNimation, Crunchyroll, Inc and Aniplex, NIS America, Inc. their grantees, contractors, and interns – and their immediate family members may not enter. Immediate family members include spouses, siblings, parents, children, and any other people residing at the same household location, whether or not they are related.

Submission

1. Artwork must be submitted electronically
2. With your entry, please include the following information:
o Your name
o Email address address
o Your phone number
3. You must be able to assert that this is your original work and/or property.

Image specifications

1. File size: Files must be smaller than 9 MB
2. File format: Files should be in one of these formats: EPS, PDF, JPG, TIFF, PSD, AI
3. Image resolution: Images should be saved at highest dpi possible.

Subject matter

1. These characters/designs are intended for a wide audience. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry we deem inappropriate for viewing by a general audience.
2. You may incorporate photography into your artwork.

Evaluation of submissions

1. Submissions must meet all requirements in this document.
2. Submissions will be narrowed to a field of five entries, which will then be posted to our respective Facebook pages for public voting. We will ask the finalists to provide the inspiration for the designs.
3. The finalist will be notified by email by Feb 20th, 2013.. The finalist may submit a photo and brief bio within 10 days of notification if the finalist wishes this information to be included with the contest winner announcement.
4. FUNimation, Crunchyroll, Inc. and Aniplex reserve the right to not select a winner if none of the entries received are judged to meet the Rules and Eligibility criteria.
5. FUNimation, Crunchyroll, Inc. and Aniplex reserve the right to disqualify any submission that it deems inappropriate for any reason and/or does not meet contest requirements.

Reserved rights

1. We may crop or resize artwork to fit cover dimensions, or to allow better placement of artwork.
2. We may superimpose our logo, and other cover material over the submitted illustration.
3. We may make color adjustments and other modifications to the artwork if needed to enhance the artwork or for other aesthetic reasons.

Ownership

1. By submitting artwork to this contest, you grant to NIS America, Inc. ,FUNimation, VIZMedia, Crunchyroll Inc. and Aniplex a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to copy, distribute, modify, display publicly and otherwise use, and authorize others to use, your artwork for any purpose throughout the world and in any media.
Limitations of liability

1. FUNimation, Crunchyroll Inc. and NIS of America, Inc. Aniplex are not responsible for researching copyright validity/originality of submitted artwork.
2. The artist certifies that artwork is original and that, for elements that are not the artist's work, the artist has explicit written permission from the author of those elements to use them for this purpose. A copy of that written permission must be provided if your entry is selected as the finalist.

ELIGIBILITY:
 “Anime Industry-tans Contest" (“Contest”) is open to individual legal
residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia and Hawaii) and
Canada (excludes Quebec). All entrants must be at least 16 years of age at the date
of entry. The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on February 7, 2013
and ends at 11:59 a.m. PT on Feburary 14, 2013 (the “Contest Period”). FUNimation,
Crunchyroll, Inc and Aniplex of America, Inc., Inc., and their parent and affiliate
companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children)
and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is
subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void
where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement
to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final
and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon
fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

All potential winners are subject to verification before
any prize will be awarded. Use of any automated system to
participate or entries generated by robots or scripts is
prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
All potential winners must be able to assert ownership of
original work and/or property. Sponsor is not responsible
for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or
misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. In the event
of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder

of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the
entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person
assigned an email address by an Internet access provider,
online service provider, Internet service provider or other
organization responsible for assigning email addresses for
the domain associated with the submitted address. All entries
will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address. Each potential winner may be
required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION
 WINNER SELECTION VERIFICATION: Sponsor
will select one winner for this contest. In the event that the
selected winner is a resident of Canada, the winner shall be
required to answer correctly an anime related trivia skill-
testing question without the benefit of any outside assistance
before the prize will be awarded. The entry must adhere to all
rules of this contest. Submissions will be narrowed to five
finalists, which will then be posted to Sponsor’s Facebook
pages for public voting. Finalists will need to provide the
inspiration for the designs. In the event that the selected
winning entry does not comply with the contest rules, Sponsor
will select another winner. The winner will be selected and
notified on February 20th, 2013 via email. Sponsor’s decisions
are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.
Funimation, Crunchyroll, Inc. and Aniplex of America, Inc.
reserve the right to not select a winner if none of the
entries received are judged to meet the Rules and Eligibility
criteria. Funimation, Crunchyroll, Inc. and Aniplex of
America, Inc. reserve the right to disqualify any submission
that it deems inappropriate for any reason and/or does not
meet contest requirements. Odds of winning the prize depend
upon the number of eligible entries received. If the potential
winner cannot be reached within 2 calendar days from the first
notification attempt, or in the event of noncompliance within
the above stated time period, with these Official Rules, or if
prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will
be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate
winner may be selected.

TOTAL PRIZE APPROXIMATE VALUE - $584.79

All other expenses not specifically identified as included in
the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. All
costs, taxes, fees, and expenses associated with any element
of the Prize not specifically addressed above are the sole
responsibility of the Prize Winner. All federal, state, and
local taxes on prizes are the Prize Winner’s responsibility.
The specifics of all aforementioned elements of the Prize in
the Contest shall be solely determined by Sponsor. Sponsor
reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater
value if the Prize cannot be awarded as described for any
reason. Some restrictions may apply. The Prize cannot be
transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash except at

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
 Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the
Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable
control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole
discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize at random
from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be
tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting
in violation of these Official Rules, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the
legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil law, and,
should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies
and damages, including attorney’s fees, from any such person to the fullest extent
permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any
term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
 This Contest is subject to all applicable federal,
state, and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official
Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and waive any right to
claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules. The Sponsor is not
responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by
entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with
Sponsor or Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to
malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or
software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; (4)
technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the
processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may

be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the
Contest or receipt or use of any prize. By receipt of any prize, winners agree to
release and hold harmless Sponsor, Crunchyroll, Aniplex of America, Inc., Wildfire,
Administrator, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors,

parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and
agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause
of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury,
