Then the official Funimation poster went up on Feb 8, with aniplex instead of viz: http://www.funimation.com/news

gahhh they make the rules so unclear :/

Basically I guess they want you to personify and draw Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Aniplex of America as actual characters

I'm waiting for someone to draw Funimation as an ecchi (yet still following the rules of this contest of what can be drawn) girl lol

I would enter this contest if I knew how to draw well, I mean I have the ideas for it, just not much skill, we'll see if I have time before the deadline though I'm being optimistic

yep, I think that's what they're getting at
draw CR, Funi, and Ani as characters and show how they act to each other or something etc etc

Ehhhh...I can't draw, but if I could, they'd be something like this...

Since Aniplex is a Japanese company whereas the others are American, I'd flip it and make Aniplex-tan American. She keeps a bunch of limited edition Blu-rays in her cleavage.

Crunchy-tan I thought might be a nekomimi, but actually I think she would be a mahou shoujo, but yes, with glasses. Definitely blue hair.

Viz-tan would be a loli in a too-long dress trying to catch up with everyone else.

Funi-tan would of course be the tsundere - red hair, twintails, Grade S, the works. However, she would be standing on a throne and wearing a crown, because...well, Funimation. The throne may or may not be resting on a shattered skeleton, representing Geneon.

Sentai-tan would be a yandere.

I wouldn't win, seeing as I'm mocking half of them.

Personifications are always interesting to look at. =D

There's some really great ones of Facebook, twitter, Tumblr and even ones of Pokemon & Game consuls.

Sadly, my drawing skills are "Eh". At least when up against the talent I've seen displayed by other members on this site. I'm still gonna give it a shot tho. Maybe the winds of fate will blow my way this time. [I sound so majestic right now]

Instead of immediately throwing a hissy fit, why not actually read the thread?

Someone else already provided a link explaining why there is a simple skill test and it has nothing at all to do with Funimation, Crunchyroll, or Aniplex discriminating against Canadians. There is a skill test because it is required by Canadian law so as to make sure that the lottery is not an illegal private lottery. You can go back and read the provided link for a full explanation.

Design the way you view Crunchy-chan, Funi-kun and Aniplex-sama as characters.

This was hilarious to see on twitter ~ I saw one of the tweets about it when it was partway through, and clicked on a "see conversation" link, then an hour later when I looked again, it had snowballed.
