I agree with what this guy said. Superficial suggestive content is not good. With ecchi though, it's easier tackle meaningful questions regarding sexual frustrations and, in some cases, a more realistic or mature approach to romantic relationships. I suppose it's up to you to decide whether or not you feel ecchi is the best medium to do so, or to decide how much suggestive content you're willing to look past.

If you find it immoral, you really need to rethink your morals.

If you actually watched more than a few minutes of that show or read the books you'd realize that despite the title, that show is not just ecchi for the sake of ecchi. It has a plot and while the main character is ecchi and uses it as a sort of power in the end he decides he would rather die for love than to live the lie of saying he loved someone else. He really just loved and wanted one girl. While it looks like just an ecchi harem show there is much more to it. Does Lisara lose her clothes in battle almost every episode? Yes but that's not the only thing the show had going for it. Sadly misunderstood and perhaps without the topless stuff it would have been taken a bit more seriously. Ah well...

I watched the show for 5 episodes before I gave up on it. to me, it just felt like everything else was there just to give them a reason to make an ecchi show. same with High School DXD. Hagure Yuusha no Estetica was similar, but the ecchi didn't overshadow the story or characters, so I actually enjoyed it. hell, I even enjoy Strike Witches and Vividred. Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai just felt lazy to me.

Glad you gave it a fair shake anyways... Too bad it wasn't for you.

I see nothing wrong with it.
Morality is subjective, that is why I don't follow any religions with all their impossible rules.
Basically saying that it hurts nobody so as long as you feel fine watching it then it is fine.

Morally? I don't really see why. It's no different then turning on a beach volleyball game on ESPN or something but you hate sports and the beach.

The levels of ecchi can be drastically different too, with some that practically revolve around it(High School of the Dead) while others use it as a clever tool(The Pet Girl of Sakurasou). I honestly don't get the question of morality though, heavier duty ecchi is just basically like something you'd watch on Skinimax or HBO.

Alot of sexual desires are morally wrong, but it doesn't stop you from pursuing them. Blame it on this filthy flesh we humans have.

It all depends on how you were taught with your morals .

I grew up in a very conservative and strong religion and I know exactly what is considered wrong and right in my faith but I also believe its up to me to decide and choose. .

And so if an anime has ecchi moments , its up to me if I watch it or not , morally wrong or not.

Asking others to tell you if its morally wrong , means its not in your mind already and you want to be told thats its ok. Only you can make that decision if its morally wrong to you or not.

Well, if you don't have a problem with it, then what does it matter what anyone else thinks? Sure there are things where that rule doesn't apply, but this is just an animated TV series. I'm a fan too, and I just make sure to watch late at night when my family's not around. That way it's not bothering anyone.
