Again, the anime Texhnolyze.

I read your first post too and it seems to me like the future become reality because Ran and ichise got involved and tried to change it causing in the dead of Ran and that made ichise kill everyone if the two of them just left it alone then the future would have been different Ran wouldn't have died and ichise not killing everyone.
Thats just me i haven't seen the anime Texhnolyze though.

No, the future would have happened regardless. Though, Ran can only see one possible future not multiple, but usually the one she sees is the one with the most likely outcome. The futures she does see are usually the dark, hopeless, and dismal ones that make you want to kill yourself. She's just a child, wise beyond her years, but still a child. She can't handle all the stress and mix of emotions - she believes that nothing ever changes. She didn't want to see anymore, all the suffering and strife. The city of Lux went insane because she kept telling everyone their future when they asked to know it, and since they were usually bad ends, Lux became more dismal than it already was. She blamed herself for driving the city insane and to atone for it she willing cut off her soul and body from the world, getting her wish to see nothing. I'm positive she died satisfied, happy, because she had met Ichise and through him, changed as an individual - in this regard to commit suicide and be free of her burdens. On the other hand, she changed Ichise from a mindless dog into a caring individual - who only wanted to see her happy. Of course, the story won't allow a happy ending in the normal sense, instead causing Ichise to fly into a rage at Ran's death, killing everyone because of his pain and anguish, then have him slowly fade away as he thought of Ran and smiled for the first time in his life.

Though, despite how bleak it all sounds, I believe for Ran and Ichise at least, that it was a happy ending. The bleakness of it comes from the whole human race dying in the process.

I wouldn't want to see the future ahead of time. I would like it to be a surprise. I feel as if I knew my fate, like who I married, I would be uncomfortable because it might not match how I feel now.

Bingo. In this case, it didn't end in total despair for the two main characters. It's sort of like this:

"Even though your future may be decided in the end, it's how you go about that end that truly matters." ~ My own quote.

I see no benefit to looking only a single day into the future. If i could see a billion years into the future, that is something that would interest me.

I want to see if I die a hero.
Good joke right?

In your own quote do you mean how you feel about your future or what you did to get to that future

It means that even if your fate is unavoidable that doesn't mean what you do before it happens is set in stone. In this case, Ichise didn't just kill everyone, he learned to care for someone and think and have feelings like a real person instead of a mindless dog before the end.

I feel like hope for the future is how most people stay happy. I know it's what gets me though my day. If I saw my future, and I couldn't change it, than it would be a curse knowing, and if you could change it, would you know if it ends up better? I think this is one of the situations that "ignorance is bliss" comes into play. Unless you found out that you were going to get Alzheimer's and then you could document your favorite anime, movies etc and just watch them over and over again. That would come in handy.

Yes, I would like to but not often. Like, I would like to have control over what kind of visions I want to see.

I really do, I wanna know if I'm successful or not. I want to see who I'd marry. Is she cute or not? And I wanna know if I marry the person who I've been in love with. Then ask myself how can I fix my mistakes during the present or past.
