sarrukin 6190 cr points Send Message: 26 / M / Texas Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/14/13 since its Valentines day and I am single, this is my take...my favorite romantic scene from a movie is in The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), when Mercedes, knowing that Edmond cannot afford a wedding ring, takes a thread from her dress, wraps it around her finger and says "this will be my ring" - 16 years later, she is able to talk Edmond down from hatred and turn his thoughts back towards her and away from the his vengeance when she shows him that she still wears the string. A little different from the novel but a good movie adaption. Consequently, the last line of dialogue in the novel is from the character of Valentine - "wait and hope"

Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/14/13 Worked for 10 hours, went home for about 30 minutes and my family called to see if I wanted to go out to eat. Since I am in the midst of depression, and have been for a very long while, I considered saying no, like I almost always do. But I didn't, I went out with them and enjoyed a nice meal and had a reasonably good time. Then I came home and played Depression Quest. It actually made me feel a bit better. Now i'm trying to figure out if I want to sleep, or watch something for a bit.

It's actually less burdensome being single on Vday. Been missing my girlfriend alllll day. The minutes are just crawling by like hours. I hate timezone differences.
