I'm guessing it'll be closer to bug/ghost.
Would be interesting if it's purely gender related evolution. This being female while say a steel version is purely male.
My favourite evolutions were umbreon and espeon. Especially for double battles. I like the ice version but never went to the trouble of collecting them again after gen 3.
A normal type evolution would be a daft choice, considering the diversity we've had from the 1st gen. Then again, a normal type would make it harder & a twist would be that if it had a move that was effective against all types, ghost included. There'd probably be a limited pp of 5 for such a move!

eevee looks is the least of your concern with pokemon imo it is on the better end of the spectrum

I am including the new eevee. The fact it still looks like a conceptually conceivable design is astonishing for pokemon (now). There are pokemon I just can't imagine how they came up with the design.
I do like going back to nostalgia for eevee, but somethings need to give.
