After rewatching a large portion of bleach... I have a theory as to Urahara's zanpakuto, benihime. Watching him cancel out a bala and deflecting a cero with his shikai is making me wonder if the spirit, Benihime, is actually a hollow, perhaps even of vasto lorde level. Considering he mention's that his bankai is not meant for training someone, it's a safe bet that it's use is either in its sheer destructive power, control over others (similar to Aizen's), or maybe even as a means to gather information (fitting his intelligence). But his Benihime's abilities are very similar to that of a hollow's in apperance and presumably reishi. Any thoughts?

I think Urahara should not be compared to anything like Fullbringers, Shinigamis, Hollows or Vasto Lordes. He is just a candy shop owner like he said. He looks really strong. Benihime's offensive and defensive skills + his kidos. He even invent own ones. It was him that came up with the idea of restoring ichigos powers. He made Hogyoku but his zanpakuto spirit must originate from a soul reaper anyway. He onces was head of science department so. I also want to know what he is capable of. Using portable gigais and a lot of fancy inventions.
There will come new episodes soon after manga is released I hope. Ichigo seems really strong now. He have fullbring, shinigami, human and hollow powers. What's next? I would like to see some kind of hollowified Fullbring Mugetsu Shinigami Ichigo put into one being.
He really should learn some kidos and ceros.

Perma mugetsu... a 2nd bankai release? That'd be awesome... but Rukia might get confused and think he's Kaien ALL the time :)...

Or maybe he should have something called ressurecion after bankai. Like the espadas have. Like ''Consume all! Tensa Zangetsu''
Maybe a second one too like Ulquiorra. ''Time does not occour'' Second Bankai would be fun. Maybe another name though. Perma Mugetsu would be rigged wouldn't it?

Thats been a bit of a point of contention for me. When arrancar's release their zanpakuto they've gained a similar ability to the soul reapers. Vizard only really seem to gain the cero and the increase in speed/strength etc from the mask. With the blood war arc panning as is... i really doubt a third release will come (I wish it would... so much) because of Ichigo's mysterious Blut ability. I love the idea of a resurreccion style release though. Maybe he'd transform into hollow ichigo from the ulquiorra fight :)...

Here's my theory regarding Kisuke Urahara's zanpaktou spirit Benihime. First of all the Benihime means Crimson Princess and most regal beings believe in subjugation and all of Benihime's attacks deal with neutralizing the enemies attack or binding them. Considering his unequaled level of intelligence Benihime should more than likely possess unrivaled abilities as well. Since Urahara's bankai has not been revealed yet it must be rather powerful considering it was able to destroy Yoruchi's zanpaktou. I believe that in bankai Benihime possesses the ability to cancel out an enemies attack and dole out at least twice the damage of the canceled out attack. Another ability that I believe Benihime possesses is the ability to predict an opponents attacks at less three moves ahead, I have come to this conclusion because of Kisuke Urahara's skills of deduction are sage like and unrivaled.

Oh yeah. That's right. he has not showed his bankai yet. That skill he did to Aizen was Shikai. Of course.
To Revoco. Yeah. It would be fun if Ichigo could transform into that being he was when he fought Ulquiorra on his will. Maybe without the mask. White Ichigo skin. How cool ^^

I don't remember Kisuke destroying Yoroichi's zanpakuto, she just doesn't need it... but the theories about countering and prediction are pretty sound as most zanpakuto take on the predominant personality traits of the owner. But because Kisuke is so calm and benevolent, but with his twisted streak (like essentially killing Ichigo just to try to reawaken his shinigami powers)... (oh and I still think he had the whole arrancar event planned out ENTIRELY from the beginning)... I just hope it's not a Komamura or Kurotsuchi style bankai where it turns into this Crimson Princess and goes all ape-s*** on people. I like to think it's called 'Crimson Princess' just because its kido type attacks are red and pretty  |
