Have You Ever Flirted While at Work?
Posted 2/12/13
I never have, because it can be troublesome. It's like they say, "never fish off company piers."

I have quite often and it has never caused any problems as long as it is in moderation.

I can't flirt to begin with, so no i don't

Where I work it is a very relaxed environment so yes I have a little bit even knowing it won't lead to anything. Depending on the work environment though it can be extremely risky to flirt. If the person doesn't like you for any reason they can instantly call it sexual harassment.

I'd never do this for the same reason I never flirted with the hot girl who lives down the street: if things get weird you have to see them all the time and its so not worth it.

Yes, all the time. It's okay as long as whoever you're flirting with is okay with it. Flirting and playful teasing is completely okay, but when you grope or say obscene shit then it's not okay.

Nope.. Not interested in that sort of thing.. And I wouldn't get anything that will be worth the effort I put into it...

Too troublesome. Not worth my time.

Nope.

You flirt, something goes wrong, now you're trapped in an environment with the person.

Yes, with two specific tales.

Once at Home Depot which was going down a bad road because we were both overstepping boundaries (she was close to cheating on her boyfriend and I almost let her).

Second, at my architecture/realty office where she kept giving me free stuff. Up until recently anyway (coworkers confirm she's a clingy cougar).

It's like drinking. Just know your limits.

No, never. I've always planned to be a manager one day and if I were to have anything beyond a manager/employee or co-worker relationship it could create a serious conflict of interest. I don't want to be stuck in a position where my personal feelings for a person go up against my responsibilities as their boss.

Depends on your definition of flirting.

I like to tease people a little bit, with smart remarks back and forth. Some may call it flirting, but I never make and direct innuendo of a sexual nature.

I was once accused of saying something that someone took offense. No one would tell me what I supposedly said, or who I supposedly said it to. They just told me I did and that if I didn't sign a thing saying that I had received some talking to about said incident that I'd be in trouble.

no joke.

Then again, I am sometimes fairly ignorant of what kids call things these days.
