When I have time--and this morning I did!--I like to blend orange pekoe with jasmine. When I'm rushed, it's Lipton. And if I miss my morning tea, it's just plain unpleasant. . .

LOL My parents are from a former British colony so everyone drinks black tea with cream and sugar. Most of my American friends think I'm nuts.

I like earl gray and most varieties of green tea. I drink tea without adding anything and I like it strong. I like it to be warm (not hot) or iced.

I don't think its nuts. My parents gave us coffee before we were even teens (half strength with milk & sugar). My mom came from a long line of coffee growers & she herself drank straight black coffee as a kid. Also, as a teen we could have an alcoholic drink (but not get drunk) with dinner. My parents weren't born & raised in America (Caribbean natives), so drinking wasn't a cultural taboo.......

Currently drinking an earl grey blend.
The second tea type was just something I found in a jar. It may be lapsang. It hasn't come out well.

Teas I'd recommend
Earl grey-ceylon blend. So nice.
and for more adventurous types, take some Ginger wine (non alcoholic if you must) and blend it with some lapsang souchong (black, no sugars of course). It does create a very nice flavour.

If you're ever bored of standard builders tea, make it even sweeter and stronger flavoured by adding cardamon to it.
