Does Marijuana Make You Violent?
Posted 2/13/13
mind if I quote all the things I'm pissing myself at in your posts? thanks

"If you’re high on marijuana, you are more likely to make mistakes that could embarrass or even hurt you"

"Also, since marijuana can affect judgment and decision-making, its use can lead to risky sexual behavior"

"Does marijuana lead to the use of other drugs?

It could" - LOL BS

"How can you tell if someone has been using marijuana?
have a hard time remembering things that just happened." - false.

"Can people become addicted to marijuana?

Yes" - False

My favourite -

"At age 42, Tyler has been through a lot. He lost both his wife and child to Marijuana addicts, and has dedicated his entire life to help combat this evil plant" HAHAHA

Seth if all you are going to do is bash someone who doesn't agree with you and make comments like "your own life experience is pointless because you don't have a PHD" it may be in your best interest to stop posting these threads.

Why wouldn't you agree with an expert that knows more about the topic than you do?

One wonders why information like this would not be more widely available about the ability of cannabis to slow the metabolism of cancer cells. The 1974 West Virgina cannabis cancer study was suddenly stopped too when the same result was noticed. ( google it , i dare you )

Is it because big pharma and their share holders stand to lose a fortune if cancer patients suddenly stop buying very expensive treatments, and begin to use a control / cure that can be cultivated in a closet for very little money and with very little skill? Could insatiable greed by the money junkies lead to more people suffering and a disinformation program about cannabis. If so this is very wrong, money and greed should not trump helping others.

true true.

do you know who pushed the ban on hemp?

Harry Anslinger... who said this

"Most marijuana smokers are Negroes, Hispanics, jazz musicians, and entertainers. Their satanic music is driven by marijuana, and marijuana smoking by white women makes them want to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and others. It is a drug that causes insanity, criminality, and death — the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind"

Now we are in dangerous territory Seth, you are doing what we call... making an assumption. You are assuming that I don't have a very wide range of knowledge on the subject. I am just going to say that turns out I do, and while good old MJ doesn't make you violent, there is a ton of other things it does cause that are just as bad. Quite frankly it should be illegal for anything other than medicinal purposes, but then I feel the same way about all alcohol and tobacco. That will never happen though. Assuming you could even find a medicinal purpose for tobacco.

First of all, my comment was posted long before those new links, so you have no business telling me to disprove your new sources when what I said had nothing to do with them.

As for the new links, do any of them say that marijuana makes you violent?

Did you even bother to read my sources from university web sites? Or are you trying to be willfully ignorant?

To the OP , your first link falsely claims cannabis speeds up cancer, yet study after study shows the complete opposite. Perhaps you are a victim of misinformation.

" Investigators at St. George’s University in London observed a similar pattern with THC, which magnified the effectiveness of conventional antileukemia therapies in preclinical studies. THC and cannabidiol both induce apoptosis in leukemic cell lines. "

" Dr. Sean McAllister, a scientist at the Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, has been studying cannabinoid compounds for 10 years in a quest to develop new therapeutic interventions for various cancers. Backed by grants from the National Institute of Health (and with a license from the DEA), McAllister discovered that cannabidiol (CBD), a nonpsychoactive component of the marijuana plant, is a potent inhibitor of breast cancer cell proliferation, metastasis, and tumor growth. "

No it wasn't, I posted them before your comment, look it up.

All of them explain how marijuana negatively affects your brain and increases your chances of becoming angry.

Your first link right here http://www.mmyvofficial.org/publications/marijuana-and-cancer/ in fact cannaboids retard the metabolism of cancer cells as shown in many studies in USA and across the world, use my link above in the quote as a starting point , from the Pacific Medical Centre and St. George's University.

I am going to let this post stand which is highly different from what most would do, but I did a send you a PM and I really hope you read it and seriously consider it's contents. If I see another post like that one directed at any user in this thread you are going to get a temp ban from the forums Seth.

So no actual violence involved?

Also, yes. It was.
My comment is on the first page. Your new links weren't posted until the third page.
