Yes it has changed it a lot. It became part of my life. A hole I didn't know was there till it came along and filled it.
As far as entertainment goes you can't go wrong with a dose of anime.
I think it broadens the mind whether you're aware of it or not.

Well done Japan!

A lot of animes really have a lot of valuable lessons. It really helped me "find myself" when I was younger. It helped to me be more confident, and is probably why I like helping people in my life.

I feel the same. I started watching Dragonball Z then Bleach, Devil May Cry Anime, Code Geass.
Now I am glad that I choose this instead of games because that is death for me.

I think its improved my life. I used to be the horror guy (still all about horror don't get me wrong) but after watching nothing but depressing gorey horror movies its kinda hard to be upbeat. Anime has so many genres that you can easily go from one extreme to a next. I've found out that slice of life comedy anime is amazing and I think becoming addicted to it has actually made me a happier person.. I used to get depressed alot but I can honestly say that I think anime is helping me get out of the rut. And its really cool to meet other people who are into it because its like your in a special club lol

Anime's not the only place that can satisfy that. Reading a wide variety of books--good ones--will probably give you a wider scope of the world and invigorate your imagination more, if that's what your goal is. But if you only want to get that from a TV source, I guess anime's a pretty good way to go. At least it's generally more stimulating than American TV.

Yeah it changed me into a fat forever alone otaku who asked their parents to take me to the madoka movie in LA and wears azusa shirts.
Did I mention forever alone?

No shit?? There is a world beyond anime??

I've been through plenty of other material that would cause me to "ask the big questions." Really, it was more the old anime than new stuff that comes out which seemed so intelligent. All the philosophical texts aside, some novelists also get philosophical, nothing wises a person up like reality. I've seen plenty enough to know that if anything is worth doing, it's not going to be easy.

It really did made me a happier person and helped me too look at my life realistically to see that every day can be an adventure!
Also helped me to see how women think and act and how they really should be treated:Totally equal to men and to be kind to each and everyone. Also showed me how pretty girls can be as well was kind of blind to that till anime! Also that alot of people go through the same problems as you and I and we should all just help each other outlast this wicked society we have to live in. Well just food for thought for me but yes 1000% changed my life for the better
