posion lol

Hotdogs are made from the lips and assholes of pigs. The new cooking oils at fast food places are typically mixed with old rancid oils that still linger on the grills. Everything always has too much sodium. There is no way trans fats have been completely eliminated.

Whatever. All the stuff on man vs food looks nice to me.

And that fella on the show must have eaten half a country's worth of food and he hasn't mutated into a lizard person/died.

That's because he is already a lizard person. Did you know that our poisoned food kills millions upon millions of people every year? Good job for not caring.

The very first thing I noticed when I moved to Canada from Asia was all the super huge obese people, IMO I fail to see the advantage of being like that .

My parents said the same when they went there for a holiday. I'd say it's less to do with the food itself and more to do with portion size. And Canada is cold, so maybe some extra blubber is useful, it's good enough for walruses.

Now I'm going off to have a horse burger.

I don't think this is only an american problem anymore though this junkwave certainly hailed from there..
here in germany everything has been americanized in such an absurd way during the last 10-20 years that I find it hard to detect anything of a difference in diet anymore.. especially with the kids, of course..
media convinces that it's cool, nutritious and wtf? it's even cheap.
and if it's not that, fat stupid parents know whats good for their children..

If you are that paranoid, just grow your own food. As for the rest of society, we'll just enjoy the fruits of over ten thousand years of human agricultural science, regardless of whatever pesticide or chemical have been sprayed on it. Mithridates, of ancient times, consumed various poisons, bit by bit, that he developed an immunity to it, as A.E. Houseman puts it:

There was a king reigned in the East:
There, when kings will sit to feast,
They get their fill before they think
With poisoned meat and poisoned drink.
He gathered all that springs to birth
From the many-venomed earth;
First a little, thence to more,
He sampled all her killing store;
And easy, smiling, seasoned sound,
Sate the king when healths went round.
They put arsenic in his meat
And stared aghast to watch him eat;
They poured strychnine in his cup
And shook to see him drink it up:
They shook, they stared as white’s their shirt:
Them it was their poison hurt.
–I tell the tale that I heard told.
Mithridates, he died old

The dose determines the poison.

IE. Everything is poison in the right amounts.

Whole Foods to... the rescue?

Also,

IE. Everything is poison in the right amounts.
is quite true.

If you have the money, buy your own ingredients and cook your own meal. My friend who is obese still eats pre-packaged burgers on a daily basis, even though he's incredibly affluent.
