Not necessarily. Egypt used to be ruled by blacks, you two could go back to it's glory days when the Pharaohs ruled and fit in quite nicely.

That's true. It wasn't horrible for blacks everywhere. In all honesty, I loved the '80s. Things were just simple and fun. But since I've already been there I'll stick with the fictional 2077.

Tough question. I've always said about going back to see things like ww1 & 2, though I'd probably end up being blown to bits.

I'd probably be burned as a heretic or demon in some places of the past and as for the future, that could ultimately be something I don't want to see. Like being there at ground zero for another terrorist attack and going back knowing about it, yet unable to really do anything to alter it.

People say I'm not from this time because of my manners, saying I'd blend in during victorian times. I'd miss my tech too much.

Ultimately, I'd redo certain events rather than a specific time/era. I.E. movie premires, getting 1st editions, meeting famous people just before their height. The only flaw, would be altering too much. I'd have to do with brief meets/signatures or do a doctor who thing like hint at the idea of a future thing aka murder on the orient express with agatha christie!

The only other thing would be to avoid my own timeline, not to interfere with what I remember or going back to a loved one whose died and saying I'm me or altering their fates. I'd still like to see them, even if it's as some weird random guy who thanks them for something everyday or dull.

I think Ancient Greece, Alexander the Great's lifetime, and Edo Period Japan would be interesting to live in for a time. Pretty happy with the current times though.

I want to see the year 10,000 and see if anyone is still around. If humanity is still around they might have left this planet by then. Or maybe 3 or 4 thousand years ago in North American before humanity really established itself.

I'm happy living in 2013.

I love past cultures, clothes and architectures, but the past was a time where there was no equality and lots of prejudices and society dictated everyone's way of living.

I love the present, I like being able to see non-closeted gay people, I like having my individuality and being able to challenge society.

I'm a black woman, things would get progressively worse for me the farther back I go in history so I think i'll stay in the present era thanks.

I am not dark dark but I am also a mixed person so I would have it tougher the farther back I go as well, lol if I was white I would want to live during the 70s while not totally bad it still sucked for non-whites in certain parts of the us so I wouldn't want to travel a lot.
If I was Asian well Japanese descent I would want to be around before the west invaded the Japanese were a very open culture with their own kind you can't fight the xenophobia they have lol but women were way well open back in those times lol.

i would love to live in Naruto's time era, and be a ninja and fight other ninja! That woul be EPIC!

You know that they never classify what era he lives in, the artist did this on purpose to create mystery, if you watch closely they have computers and ear pieces but they don't have cars and the only train I can remember seeing is from the ice princess movie? i believe thats what it is. So if you wanted to live in Naruto's world it would prob be more like a dimensional shift not a time era. Which would still be awesome cause i have so many ideas for jutsus' lol.

The present. Why you may ask?

A fraction of the mortality rate means I have a good chance of living until I'm at least 40.

A faction of the racism and bigotry I'd have to listen to or witness.

Modern sanitation, the internet, easy access to a plethora of music, TV, video games, ANIME ...

Need I go on?

The ancient Greeks and Romans didn't care about bi-sexuality or homosexuals. They embraced it.

Due to my appearance and gender, I don't think it will be a great idea to travel back to another era. I am curious though to travel to either Ancient Egypt to learn about the life skills. Or to this land and see how the natives were carrying on with their lives before they lost their homes. Or to Easter Island since little information is about that island and how the people lived I feel. Or to Japan before those temples and pyramids went underwater. Or try and check the Mayan and Aztec community and see about the meaning of their calenders.
