I've been using facebook for year.
i have a lof of friends in my list.
i stop using it because i feel that i have no reason to let everyone on my friends list to know what i am up to.
i use flickr or other photo sharing site just to share with certain people i trust. so not everyone in the world knows about me.
Anyone feel the same?

I spent four hours a day on Facebook for about a year, decided to suddenly shut down my account, and the next day, I became a superfan of anime.

I have people who lose their friggin minds over the website and what people post. My family is like, hypnotized by the crazy stuff that gets posted there. It also fuels my paranoia. I do not like it one bit.

I hate facebook...although i time to time still check it out. I do have an open account with alot of photos and have found a lot of lost family since starting FB two years ago. so it did have its benefits. but i am so sick of seeing the same old things..."friends" showing photos of what they had to eat, their family dog and espec hate the gazillion requests for game playing aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!! Idont play the games ....i would rather be on CRUNCHYROLL  talking with the friends here because we all share one thing in common - ANIME- people here seem more real than on FB and that's my take on it. |

Facebook was cool the first few months I had it because everyone posted awesome stuff and was fun. Now most of my friends post poems, depressing stuff like "I just want to go to bed and forget about today," or posting pictures just to show off. I barely if ever go on Facebook unless my friends are having a party or something and inviting people, after that mine's almost abandoned.
I do have to say that Facebook is good for gaming codes and beta sign-ups. Facebook is the only place except Twitter where I've won codes or other things.

Deleted my account a couple of months ago. A couple main reasons: Family members I don't really care about constantly trying to contact me. People posting and tagging photos of me without my permission. Paranoia over privacy.. FBI face recognition software using facebook.. targeting advertisements.. The aforementioned family and annoying old girlfriends trying to keep tabs on you..
Yeah, I'm done with it. It even takes two weeks for them to delete your account. It's dumb.

I am getting so tired of Facebook. Facebook, like money is the root of almost all evil. Anyone have any suggestions besides Facebook?
