Which is strange since, at the time, my job was designing and maintaining websites. What did it for me was a job interview where I was told that all employees had to 'friend' the companies HR department.

I stayed on there for about a week before deleting the account. Several of my family members and a few of my friends relationships with each other have been completely destroyed by facebook drama.

However, I have to say that FB isn't really as fun as it used to be. I remember back then when you could decorate your FB with boxes and stuff.. but now it's just plain old information and photographs. I'm not complaining anymore, but after that first major redesign where a lot of people complained and tried petitioning a return to the original, I was pretty mad. I love it though. I wouldn't expect a person who doesn't talk to a lot of people or has no friends on FB to like it much. I mean, FB games could be fun, but.. if you don't have friends or you have friends that don't use FB, there's no point in having it.

Its a fun way to get a joke out or information out there without picking a specific person to send it to. And while most my 1 on 1 conversations are done individually, Facebook is a good means of keeping in touch with each other. Just a few minutes ago me and two friends made plans to cosplay as a Dugtrio for the upcoming Pokemon XY luanch event. That being said, Facebook can be a HUGE time killer. That's not a good thing, to be honest... If I had spent more time readings books or studying the world then I did on social networking sites, I would have been a better person-maybe. In the end, moderation is all you really need. =p
