I don't know, we need to figure out a way to do so.

The people you are thinking of have/had serious psychological problems that should have been cured before they committed their horrible crimes. These problems are the monsters, not the people that have them.

First year - Craziest year ever. Got saddled with a horrible roommate chosen at random to co-inhabit the dorm with me. All he did was blast awful hip-hop music, smoke a lot of weed, drink, and throw up. When his friends burst in and woke me up at 4 in the morning, I decided I had enough. After week 2, I only used that dorm as a storage area and began living with two friends from high school in their dorm. Their dorm had a loft and, luckily, a roomie who was NEVER there. The RA thought I was the missing guy for the longest time and got mad when he found out I wasn't (LOL). I don't know why he got mad since I was a beneficial presence there (cleaned, cooked, entertained, help people study, etc.).

After he told me to stop living there, I stayed with the girl I was going out with for about 2 weeks. She'd sneak me into her house every day after her parents went to bed. I was paranoid so eventually went to live with a new friend I met who would become one of my closest friends later through college. She had a dorm with 3 girls in it but all of them were okay with me living with them.

Second year
- Got an apartment with a guy I met in the dorm I got kicked out of. Aside from his odd dietary habits, he was a good roomie and a chill guy. He always had his rent in on time, we'd game together, and we'd make each other study when we were being stupid and lazy. I also occasionally lived with the girl who let me stay in her dorm the previous year since she had a studio by herself and got lonely all the time.

Third year - Rented a house with my girl friend from the previous two years, along with another two people. Those two were shady and liked to never clean and steal stuff, so we kicked them out. 4 more people came in and we kicked them out too for never paying their rent on time (if at all) and never cleaning. It was just us 2 for the last few months.

Fourth year - Ridiculous party year. Renewed the house lease due to our chill landowner. My friend and I got into a nasty argument and stopped talking for the second half of the year. We didn't renew the lease at the end and went our separate ways.

Fifth year - I commuted for a few weeks before my girl friend from before contacted me and got really emotional and apologized, so I forgave her and we moved together back in to a different house. We were newcomers and people there were rude and liked to steal things. We moved into a new apartment after a couple of months.

The apartment was awesome. Everything was new and clean and working perfectly. I left when I graduated but she is still living there.

So how doesn't every criminal have psychological problems?

I think he means diagnosed conditions or stuff like depression and stuff. They simply get fed up and snap or decide that to make their statement to the world this needs to happen. Stuff like that I think is what he's talking about. In this case though we could consider it a moral imbalance so to say.

You're a criminal when you break laws. Not all laws require you to have psychological problems to break them. Therefore, not all criminals have psychological problems.

Then, again, of course, almost EVERYONE has had 'psychological problems' at one time or another in their lives. Depends what you mean by that term. It's pretty broad and can mean anything from minor imbalances to full-blown insanity.
