Like any other human being, I'd wonder why a person chose to pee next to me instead of the other 10 choices. But then again, I'm a lady.

Efficiency:

- You don't need to lift the toilet seat.
- You don't have to snipe, just spray with no pray.
- You don't need to deal with stall doors.
- No need to bend down to flush.
- No need to deal with unflushed turds.
- Less mess if you're equipment doesn't function well enough at the moment.
- Less slashback.

Anyone ever notice the Guys bathrooms are always smelly and all ghetto looking (broken mirrors, tp all over, piss on the floor..)

and all the Girls bathrooms are nice and clean and smell nice...

anyone ever notice that?...it's just...it's just...dam

That's my problem with the dudes bathroom, but whatever, it's cuz we're men.

My friend works as a Janitor and let me tell you the amount of time he had to clean it was always the girls restrooms that weren't clean at all. (This might be different depending on where you live) my friend told me that when he went to clean the restrooms the toilet seat had blood everywhere and feces all over the floor and walls he said it looked like a murder scene. And even his girlfriend confirmed this about the ladies restrooms as well. It's no different with women either. They said surprisingly it's worse with Women

I had no issues with Men's restrooms. Around here they are pretty damn spotless and no piss everywhere.

Eww dude, that's nasty...and yeah, it does vary from place to place.

I don't think we have to worry about that issue as men do. But this question can be applied to many situations, such as having someone sit next to you on public transportation when there are plenty of empty seats available. Had that happen a few times, it always seem weird to do. >:3

Something's wrong with you, OP. I may be a mutated hotdog, but at least i'm a well-informed one. This is like...what the hell are you even complaining about?
I wasn't complaining, I'm asking for insight....which you provided none.

Yup! It's so weird for social creatures to want to be close to one another...

I don't think males worry about privacy too much when they're using a urinal, because they just want to use the washroom and get out. I doubt many men care if another guy sees their genitals or if they urinate sitting down. Urinals to me always seem like a quicker way to do your business, not a sign of masculinity. That's silly lol.

I do wonder do many men have a problem when this happen -

I really really hate that. I almost want to yell at the person in those situations, "Really? There are 5 other urinals here unused and you had to pick the one next to me, wtf is wrong with you." Just gives you that "this person is a creeper" feeling I guess.

But on subject urinals are just quicker. Unzip, pee, zip up, wash hands. Plus I'll take a urinal over the old school troff's any day.

Lol I feel the same way, I'd probably say something if I was a guy. Or just move to another urinal.

Personally, I tend to use the stall; then again, a guy once tried to attack me in a bathroom, so I'm a little paranoid in that regard.

The stall can be kinda nasty. I have no idea how anyone can manage to crap on the seat, but there's some guy where I work that manages this impressive feat. If I somehow did this, I'd do my damnedest to erase the evidence of my gross failure, but not this guy, no. I assume it's just one guy, because surely I can't work with that many incompetents, right?

Even so, having had the wonderful part time job of Burger King associate in my youth, I have to say, though it was long ago, that I recall the women's bathroom being worse in terms of cleanliness. Men's bathrooms on the other hand seem to suffer damage to them, not sure why.

Also, so far as sitting down is concerned, some toilets seem to not be designed with the idea of men doing that in mind.
There is sometimes just not enough room there, so you'd either have your piece hitting the toilet wall, or you'd have to use your hand to hold it down, then your hand might have the same problem. So there's another excellent advantage to standing/urinals.

Regarding the 1-urinal buffer rule, I heard a tale from one of my coworkers. Women probably won't believe me, but even the men's room does fill up at times. On one such occasion, my coworker told me, a guy at a urinal stepped to the side and offered to share with him... he politely declined.

The only time I ever need to piss while sitting is when I'm already taking a dump. Wouldn't make sense to have to finish the ritual and then stand up to piss.

Privacy? Wrong.. We don't care about that crap. If a guy has a problem with privacy, he can just go into a stall. Some guys complained about it to you. So what? It's their problem, let them go to the stalls instead of whining about mere urinals. If they're really that homophobic or insecure about the size of their manhood, then they should just go outside and piss in the grass.

"more manly to pee standing up, even more manlier to show it off....therefore, urinals"
Wrong.

-people will think they are peeing sitting down if they use the locked stall, guys find this embarrassing...therefore, urinals
Wrong.

-peeing in the toilet stall is similar to that of a women, men find it insulting....therefore, urinals
Wrong.

-Since they are not in their own home, guys think it's fun to graffiti with their urine....therefore, urinals
Wrong.

-It's dirty to pick up the seat in the public bathroom...therefore, urinals
Wrong.

It's just convenient, that's all. There's nothing to debunk and nothing to wonder about.

Uses less water to flush than a toilet
Now I know you both didn't know that before looking it up

Actually most commercial toilets have the amount of water used to flush them printed on the top. Take a look next time. On a urinal it's quite visible, you may not have noticed as I'm guessing as a woman you don't spend a lot of time standing above the toilet.
