To me, one of the biggest parts to any anime is the music playing whilst the action happens. It not only helps to reenforce the action being portrayed, but the emotion that is going on as well. I was just wondering what songs/soundtracks really struck a chord with people. A few of mine are..

As for overall music I think Bleach was pretty good. My all time favorite OP's are Berserk and Gantz.

Kure-nai: I haven't watched the whole anime yet, but I've listened to most of the OST.
It's mostly piano and classical instruments, but all the songs sound soo unique. It's a soundtrack that will remain in my memory.

Bleach - Never Meant To Belong is one of my favorites.
I also love most of the Reborn! songs.

Inuyasha had some of the most amazing endings and openings ever... Dearest, My Will and No More Words in particular...
Also My Only Love, Rainy Day Man, Oh Starry Night, and Carry On from the dub of Sailor Moon(say what you will about the voice acting, but the songs are way better in the dub for that one.)
More recently Overfly from SAO and To The Beginning from Fate/Zero.
Slightly off-topic are JRPGs, which The Travelers from WKC and 1000 Words from FFX-2 are also up there in my favourites.

bleach had some (SOME!!) good sound tracks, Naruto and Naruto Shippuden had some pretty sick guitar riffs, uuuuummm bakemonogatari had some very nice ominous music that suited the show very well and some good shiz in DBZ too.

Fairy Tail has consistently pleasing OPs and EDs, I can't say there's one I particularly dislike. Then again, I like most of them unless they are horrible. FMA Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn have the best in my tastes.
