I can already imagine the amazing lines Link would say...

"Dehut! Hyatt! Gaahhh! Haaa! Shiaahhh!"

and then your magical partner would scream obvious and unnecessary advice...

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!! Hey!"

"Listen..."

they did have cartoon series for the series here in america and it was really bad , that and that horrible CDI game. so that would have to be a no for me simply because don't want to see a nightmare like that again. not saying that it be actually. just saying I wouldn't be able to bring my self to watch it.

I wouldn't like it unless its in the same style as Skyward Sword which is as anime like of a Zelda game as we'll probably ever get

and I would probably still dislike the voices used for the "anime" because my mind already imagines something else for the characters

I would like to see a zelda anime but only if they put some real thought and work into the writing, character development and interactions. It would be nice to get some back story on a lot of the characters from the series.

The Legend of Zelda was one of the best games I've ever played. Usually video games don't translate well to Anime. It would depend on the story, artwork, and music before we could come to a conclusion just like any other anime .

If they'd make a anime adaptation to the Zelda manga, then that would be good enough.

I don't see why not. I think it'd be pretty good and if a LoZ anime ever came out, I'd definitely put it on my to-watch list.

3 months later, my opinion still hasn't changed

The voice cast will never live up to my own expectations.

I'm not sure. I mean on the surface Zelda feels like a franchise that has a lot of potential for storylines, but in all honesty it's always really been about gameplay as miyamoto envisioned. I am not sure if it would necessarily translate over into something worthwhile. It's tempting but I'm not sure if it would work.

Gah you beat me to it :(. You know, if we can get more legendary lines like that, I am all for an anime, but if it fails it has to epicly fail!

I wouldn't mind one. Sonic, Kirby, the final Fantasy series, and the Persona series have all done it. I think it would be cool.
