Although it seems that live action adaptations of crazy over-the-top action shounen animes tend to kill the series more than help it

I don't think there will ever be one either. If so, I'll be surprised. Most of the ones I watched just ended up terribly and like crap. Death Note was meh. Dragonball just made me want to kill myself. Most live "anime" films look like mere high school projects.

I know Negima got a live-action version, but they had Negi played by a girl, right? That just sounds like it'll be nothing but fanservice, but again, I don't really know anything beyond that. And Sailor Moon got something too? Sounds like cheesiness...

The Best lorreen 19488 cr points Send Message: F / Boston-ish Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/12/13, edited 3/12/13 I haven't seen many, at least not ones I was aware had been anime, but I did like the live-action Nana (it cut out a lot of the story that pertained to the non-Nana characters for reasons of length, but what they were left with was good, and made a good movie. Since I could still have those characters and stories by watching the anime, no problem),. I also saw Honey and Clover. I actually think I might have liked the live-action a little more than the anime.
