Society has taught many people how to fail, and nature doesn't seem to operate so much around the complex moralities we contrived. It's kill or be killed, survival of the fittest, though we could do better than to propagate the side of our species with a misfit disposition, all thanks to some women's attraction to males who are incapable of respecting and according to established social rules and norms. Women are often left to do all the work with maturation and nurturing because the uncaring alpha males desert them out of the desire for a new mate and avoidance of responsibilities.

But hey, beats being shacked up with a possibly compassionate beta male that takes care of his business, doesn't it?

You've got a point there.

But suppose that something can be done. The fact that we've unwittingly flaunted our powers over nature in the past with devastating effects should prompt us to try and control the powers we have over nature reasonably, for our own moral obligations or simply for humanity's own interests.

I don't think that showing the photographs of killers in the news is bad, but sometimes these images can serve as advertisements of those killers. Ever since the wild west, there has been a trend of young women with a sexual attraction for bad boys in popular culture. I don't think that antiheroes are particularly bad, we don need a Robin Hood, Captain Nemo or Huck Finn sometimes. But there are people who do lawless acts simply for their own gain, and I think we must be careful how we portray these people in media.

Why is nobody pointing out that you only get 13 years for killing someone in Argentina?

Or he could be innocent. I mean, there have been times (though rare) that a person convicted and tried as guilty is actually innocent and this is only discovered after the sentence is carried out.

Maybe people should stop pointing fingers so fervently until they know what actually happened.

It's a good idea within the context of person that wants revenge.

That scumbag a couple months back who set a fire to lure in firefighters and shoot them got out of jail after 20 years for killing his grandma.

Glass houses man. America is just as stupid about prison sentences for murderers.

Glass houses? That shit is wrong too. Don't get all high and mighty and start judging until you actually know where a person stands.

Thanks.

Because they were wronged and the person that did the wrong must be taught a lesson.
