How is killing somebody teaching them a lesson?

Glass houses? That shit is wrong too. Don't get all high and mighty and start judging until you actually know where a person stands.

Thanks.

I'm saying that as an American you can't mock Argentina for having weak penalties for murder, I'm not saying anything about your beliefs.

I'm saying as a logical, level-minded person, that I can be against short term prison sentences no matter WHAT country it is, even if it is my own, for taking another person's life.

And since when was I "mock"ing anything? I was speaking in a state of appall, not jest.

Stop trying to be so anti-America and just accept that my beliefs might possibly not be that of whatever preconceptions you have, whether true or false, about Americans in general.

Thanks again.

It teaches them how it feels to be victimized. Once you know how it feels, you might realize that you were in the wrong and that might lead to a change in your way of thinking which should be for the better.

Why can't this be done without victimizing them?

It doesn't teach them a lesson whatsoever. They're dead, and after death, or "the light," nobody knows what's beyond that except for those who've died. So basically, SHORTLY EXPLAINED: No lesson was taught in life, because that person is already dead.

That is true, isn't it scientifically proven that women are naturally attracted to murderers?

I saw a documentary of that, generally men in prison murderer or not. This particular woman loved a murderer though haha.

It appears that the woman was dating her sister's ex, the killer, long before he was accused and CONVICTED (thus he is no longer innocent in the eyes of the law) of killing her twin. Now it could be that she is convinced that her boyfriend, now husband, really is wrongfully accused and maybe he is. But the point is that relationship she had with his man started BEFORE the murder ever took place. This is important.

As amusing as it is to read about people sprouting nonsense about alphas and betas, if you actually read the article the situation becomes much more understandable. If you really love a person, you don't stop loving them just because they were accused of something, even if that something is as horrible as a murder. Especially if you are convinced they are innocent. The woman was in a relationship with her new husband for sometime. She had known him for even longer because he used to be the twin's boyfriend. If he managed to convince her of his innocence, I would think that it would only be natural for her to cling to him and not lose him too as she did her twin over the tragedy that befell her and her family.

To put it another way, imagine your boyfriend/girlfriend, whom you love very much, was accused of killing your sibling or parents or maybe even a cousin you are friends with. You might have been together with this person for awhile and you think you know this person. We don't know how much evidence there was in this case but let's go with that the evidence wasn't enough to convince YOU, maybe a jury, but not you. Would YOU still marry said person?
