Post Reply Wounds in the Heart

I find a way to distract myself from thinking about it. Doing things I like and a nice change of scenery for a while help. It will still hurt for a bit, but with time eventually it will fade. It may not go away completely, which isn't a bad thing. But the hurt will go away.

Just wondering how you guys cope with it? The heart is very complex.

I take every day in stride, man. I've had my heart broken a couple of times, and I'm not going to say it's made me "stronger," necessarily... It's actually made me more fearful of falling for someone and trusting. What it has done, though, is make me more aware. I've learned new things about myself with each struggle, and I just try to think about what it is I truly want. What it is I live for. I try to stay hopeful.

Distractions are good, like video games and anime. That's how I usually cope. Tear it up in Call of Duty and wreck some unsuspecting scrub's shite all over the place, or the serenity of Skyrim, or all the good feels you can get by watching a good slice of life or romantic anime.

I distract myself. I actually hate being a teenager right now because of the annoying hormones, which cause me to get hurt for stupid reasons >.>.

One day at a time, though!

Oh, puberty is such a beautiful metamorphosis, is it not?! The enchanting journey of the teenage soul seeking out and fighting to find who it is they really are and what it is they really want. Such a splendid time indeed. We must cherish the spring-time of our youth while it is still fresh in our hearts! *that one typical middle-aged person in your typical anime*

I'm ready for this journey to be about done, myself.

Nope. I don't get heartbroken. I break hearts.

I am sorry, but my heart has never been wounded before; not to my knowledge, but I havent been having any heart attacks or internal bleeding, cancer, cardiac arrest or anything.

Well, I just talk to my friend karma. Someone hurts you they will end up being hurt. What comes around, goes around.

First, I go heartless. Most of my memories in the past harmed me and I chose not to talk about it.
